Proud

Im incredibly proud of this team and my club, unfortunately, given the standard of contribution on the rare occasions we suffer a poor result,i can't say the same about some members of this community.
Quite a few, some more than others.....need to have a word with themselves.

This team is fucking brilliant. Not just the team, the manager, the academy, the owners. Everything.

At the end of the day, we’ve been knocked out a cup competition, just like we did against Wigan. Barca got knocked out tonight by Roma, the third best team in Italy. Barca are undeafeated all season.

We’ve got a very young squad, we will have our luck in this competition in the coming years. We’re only going to get better. We could have made a proper game of that in the second half if that Sane goal wasn’t disallowed.

Liverpool and United fans can gloat all they want tonight, but they’ve both got some work to do before lifting any silverware at the end of the season. We’ve got one trophy in the bag and another one on the way.

Get fucked to all the knobs that want to criticise this City side because this season has been the best season I’ve ever seen from a City side. Roll on the title and roll on next season, we’re going to be the top team in England for years to come.
Top post.

Spineless? Isn’t conceding 8 in 3 games spineless? Isn’t giving up a two goal lead against our biggest rivals at home when playing for the title spineless. Get real mate we are fully justified as fans to be pissed off after the performances last 3 games. Can anyone tell me why fernandiho played CB tonight second half?

I asked that but he also looked like he had taken a knock late on in the first half. Could have been that?

I like your optimistic and positive nature. Can you do a post that makes me feel better about referees please.

Give me a team who play sublime football, 2 trophies a year and so much to look forward every day of the week! Anyone who is disappointed needs a reality check we need to remember where we were 10/15 years ago. I could not care less what the rags or dippers do just City and that's all that matters. Yes i woke up disappointed this morning but there is so much ahead it won't last long.
I saw some tweets from rags gloating last night , this from a club who were knocked out in last round by a lowly Spanish team, this is how far we are ahead of them.

Proud .
That game was cathartic for me , moderately dissapointed but that was a view to the future , bring it on .
( still pissed of with pep over Saturday though )

Great post f*** the negative people on here. What a season this has been!!
There is a thin dividing line between negativity and objectivity. The last week has been very poor, although I accept we did not get the rub of the green at vital moments serious weaknesses have been exposed. In the cool light of day we have gone out 5-1 on aggregate to the dippers and a degree of soul searching is required to ensure we do a lot better should we meet them again next year.

Yes there are many reasons to be cheerful at what has been achieved this season but some very hard work is necessary if we are to reach similar heights next year. I think some of the external and internal criticism of our football club has been over the top but an awful lot of investment has been pumped into the organisation in recent years so understandably expectations are sky high.

The sense of deflation felt after the events of the last week is only natural and in stark contrast to the euphoria that would have abounded had we won those three games. The league title which is certain to arrive in the coming weeks will feel anti-climatic to many and any records posted during the course of the campaign soon forgotten. Notwithstanding all this what must be remembered is that the club is in a good place and the team with 2 or 3 wise additions appears capable of winning back to back titles which would be four crowns inside a decade.

This is a solid foundation upon which to attempt to become the dominant side not only in England but all of Europe during the 2020's.

...is absolutely the correct emotion. Must have been a very difficult week for you, however we at west ham have difficult weeks every week , the looming threat of moyseeeh getting given a full time contract and another season of andy carroll " will he wont he make it to ten " ( no, not goals, games ) and the annual "lets see who we can pick up cheap from the relegated sides " transfer " strategy - its a constant fucking grind!

You on the other hand have two trophies in the pot, playing lunar level football and it can only get much better.

Stlll cant get it in my water to do anything other than applaud your continued advancement..

Cheers
