Some funny posts on here.
If your talking facts then most of the multiplatform games look better on ps4 than XBO.
That's a fact. They have a higher res and or higher frame rate. Fact. 900p to 1080p. 30fps compared to 60fps.
You can say you can't tell the difference but you can - that's why 4K TV is taking off - because you can tell the difference.
If your talking exclusives well, ps4 has just had the playstation experience and revealed some of their 2015 games. Xbox haven't had any shows since E3 and so currently there are more exclusives known for ps4.
People trying to justify an xbox purchase because of Kinect are having a laugh. Yeah, fifas so much better when you can shout at your tv and wave your arms around! Fabulous. Kinect is awful.
There's also a motion sensing camera for ps4 if your that bothered but sony aren't al daft as to try and make it a big thing - it's not.
Kinect is so poor that it's been unbunded from the console.
You want to try and use your xbox as a media centre then good for you but your missing the point. Ps4 is a games machine hence the tag line 'for the players'.
If you want to mention xbox in that light then your better of comparing it to Apple tv or a sky box.
Joypads are a preference thing but I prefer my xbox pad over my ps4 pad - but it's marginal and down to personal preference.
As it stands - for games - ps4 is the better and more powerful console. It's outsold xbox, thus far has a better line-up and is more powerful.
As for wii-u, you can't beat Nintendo games. I'll buy one when ZELDA comes out for it.
Worth noting that ps4 also has virtual reality in the shape of Morphius coming for it.
