PS4 OR Xbox One

Anyone played Mortal kombat X? I'd love to but it's sold out everywhere in Manchester!
Got it on PS4. If you had MK9 it's similar. I've not played it much, difficult to become accustomed to slower fighters when I'm used to the speed of Smash 4.

Anyone played The Witcher 3 yet? Looks brilliant from what ive seen, huge open world which i just love.

I've given up completely on Battlefield Hardline now, they finally released a patch for it yesterday that was supposed to address a few of the many balancing issues and most importantly sort out the horrible lag, The lag is more bearable now but far from stable and the balancing or lack of has just made me realise how crap it really is, if you're not using a smg you may as well not be playing ala COD. Went back to battlefield 4 instead. last time EA are having my money on release for any game.

Been put back til September I think

Its out on May 19th. Already downloaded mine on xbox one. For the first 16 weeks everyone gets free dlc. Looks fantastic however I would recommend that you either play the first two if you haven't or at least read up on them as it might get a bit confusing with the story. Also each enemy you have to use different tactics so you really have to think or else you are going to die. A lot.

Also it's going to be a real time sink. The map size is 136 km/sq. To put that in context GTA V is 81 km/sq and Skyrim was 37 km/sq. That's just ridiculous.

COD Black Ops III looks extremely disappointing, COD has gone downhill a lot. What happened to their WW2 games?
The original cod2 on pc was the best game I've ever played. Actually brings tears to my eyes thinking about it.

CD Projeck Red have said though the world will be alive with hundreds of quests. For example one of the early side quest is to kill a ghost in a abandoned village. When you do kill the ghost the villagers will move back in and they will give you discounts on goods and repairs. It will also open up new quests. There are 36 different possible endings in the game depending what you do. CD did a speed run and it took them 25 hours to complete and that's with them knowing all the shortcuts. The main quest on average will take about 60 hours and your looking at least 200 hours to do everything in the game

From what I've read, there will only be references to the first two games in the third so it isn't essential that you play them but recommended that you do especially the second

That's why I fear for Star Wars battlefront, I so want it to work but their track record is shit as of late :(
