Not sure parking the bus is in our dna.
It's not. We are shit on the back heel too. So we need to possess the ball and counter quickly when the opportunity arises. Playing Dihno and DeBryune attacking 3 helps that greatly. Playing Silva and Yaya helps keep possession when no counter opportunities present themselves.

Is anyone sensing Parisian complancy? And can we use that to our advantage?

Could have done with 3 away goals tbh.

2-2 was a decent result but I just worry that they'll eat up that advantage before HT. We need to be sensible because tonight our goals are worth less than theirs. If we score first it doesn't really change the tie all that much. Obviously it'd be a confidence boost and you'd hope that PSG heads will drop a bit but you'd imagine PSG will be going out there with the aim to score 2 anyway to take away the advantage

I saw a report that PSG may go 3 5 2, I think it's safe to say we have to win the midfield battle and protect the centre halves. We have to start with both of the Fernys and then its a decision between Yaya or Delph. At the moment I'm leaning towards Delph but it's a tough call.

I think us scoring first would be huge and would certainly change the tie in our favour. Not sure I get what you mean about our goals being worth less than theirs?

If Yaya plays CM rather than 10 then Yaya is the way to go.

If he plays right up behind Aguero, as KDB did, I think it will hurt us. Part of the reason to have a 10 that high up the pitch is to press and counter, 2 things KDB is better at than Yaya.

If Yaya plays deeper alongside Dinho, infront of Fernando, a la Seville away, then we can have more control in possession and it may make up for moving KDB.

Also, PSG will know that we have a tendency to concede early on at home. We need to to dictate the opening or at least be compact in the middle.

If you need to accommodate all KdB, Yaya and Silva, I'd play KdB and Silva in a free role around Aguero. And both Ferns to cover up our shaky defence. Build up play by Fernandinho and Yaya, with Yaya sitting right in front of the two Ferns and both Yaya or Fernandinho (not both at the same time please) looking to try and get in the gaps left by KdB and Silva. Or putting Fernandinho on the right with Yaya and Fernando covering the defence. More fragile yet it'll hopefully keep Yaya away from moving foreward to make all three of KdB/Yaya/Silva get in eachothers way.
If Navas comes in it brings more balance and pace, keeping Maxwell stick to his defensive duties. If so I'd leave Silva out as I think we need Yaya's power tonight.

Ah, whatever. As long as we score more goals than PSG I'd give a hoot what the formation is. It wasn't our formation last week that got us a 2-2 draw. More often incidents make the final result. What if Luiz was sent off after 30 seconds, Mangala got a red card and PSG a penalty that Ibrahimovitch would have converted, them not getting the penalty they did, Ibrahimovitch scoring when one on one with Hart, Silva heading on goal when Navas brilliantly crossed, Ibrahimovitch header hadn't touched the bar and the ball would've dropped in goal, Fernandinho's shot got a deflection and the ball hobbled past the wrong side of the post ...

I just think we may need Delphs legs, Yaya would have been automatic until this season but not sure now. Maybe come on at 60 minutes
When rested, which he is now, Yaya is a shoe in. A good part of our defense will be keeping possession. That's why Yaya is key. Same goes for Silva

Nail on head!!! And your what if section is brilliant!!!

Excellent point and spot on.

I have my downers on Yaya but when he plays, he dictates the play and we boss possession and that's key tonight.

If we make it a high scoring game PSG have the advantage because the likelihood is that it'd mean they can win or draw and go through. Also, the fact that this leg goes to ET gives them more time to get more away goals (an unfair rule imo but it is what it is).

It's in our interest to make it a low scoring game (if we can't beat them comfortably)

Definitely. We may still go out but Toure is a big game player and Delph whilst an honest lad and a good squad player is not at this level.
