Thank god you dont

It's fair to say that if owned a forum it wouldn't have many members!

This thread went off topic by the first page and never really recovered. It would be a bit strange for the mods to delete the thread after 20 add pages off the same thing being let go

They don't need to delete it. I just thought it contained a discussion about City and Paris - reading 20 pages of xenophobic nonsense about the french was not what i expected.

Xenophobia and other such small minded little ingerlander stuff belongs down in the cellar. There's probably a very interesting discussion to be had about PSG and City if you were to take your 'debate' downstairs.
Tough titties.

And there are lots of other PSG threads if you care to use the search facility.

I'm sorry and I don't mean to be rude, but there's a reason why moderaters can often be found asking people to stay on topic in threads. There is also a reason why the cellar exists as you know because you spend so much time down there. Frankly the views of a fair few in this thread are so embarrassing if I owned this site I'd have deleted this thread anyway.

My favourite part of this thread is that the Axis of Daily Mail started off by arguing over the French's inherent cowardice, listing numerous very well researched examples of France losing military battles, and then back tracking over the last few pages trying to make out their G.C.S.E history homework was meant to be "ironic" and "a bit of fun."

Guess that's an admission that their earlier posts were ridiculous, and a changing of their views to a more considered and balanced one, which is good enough for me.

Very opinionated on what should be allowed for one so new to the forum aren't you.

Amazing how it lasted so long before your time.

Anyway, carry on.

In France it's Azincort and that story is untrue but good try.
Sorry but it is true if you were a longbowman who could fire off more than ten accurate arrows per minute and you were not any kind of nobleman if the French spotted you and captured you execution by a sword called a MAUL was the norm.
If you was proficient with the bow and of noble birth and you was captured your two bow fingers were cut off and tied around your neck in a pig skin pouch this styed there until your ransom was paid.
Once back with the English army nobles would ride out to the french army before a battle and wave theyr hand at french nobles to show them they no longer fired the bow because if captured again with a pouch of arrows or anything to do with archery you was put to the maul immediately it was one of the rules of chivalry.
We just executed most prisoners including nobles purely for logistical reasons ie feeding them and mobility they were usually killed with a thrust thru the eye holes in the helmet with along thin knife hence the expression couldnt look me in the eyes.
iT was the English king who decided which French nobles lived or died the ordinary French soldiers were just dispatched by any means usualy just put to the sword.
How do i know this i went to Agincourt on a school field trip believe me the French still hate us for it some cafes in the region point blank refuse to serve English
Maybe we should just nuke France then

At last the obvious solution. But petition your MP and are you hailed as a clear thinking man of action who slices through the obfuscating undergrowth of false sentimentalism for Jacques Tati and the vines of Bordeaux? No, your phone is tapped and you are followed to the shops by sullen looking men in beige raincoats.
