I'd love to read one of your homework essays on immigration. Nice username by the way.

Congratulations; a gold medal in pomposity. When I suggested "moving on" I didn't mean from jibes about Burnley homes to yet more cheap asides about GCSEs, history homework and people's monickers. That last one is hilarious from one who styles himself "shaelumstash". There you go: irony again. Look it up in the dictionary some time, preferably before your next post.

Nobody's backtracked as you fondly imagine. Nor are they likely to in the face of the condescending drivel you serve up. No humour, no humility and a wasted education.

P.S. Nice work, swp's back.

You can suggest "moving on" all you want, but what on earth makes you think I am going to stop replying to another poster at your request?! And you have the nerve to call me pompous! You cheeky chap.

Again you've clearly misunderstood my post to SWP, this keeps happening so it might be best you just leave me to have this debate with other posters because it's a waste of my time to keep going back and explaining it to you.

The Daily Mail has a well renowned anti-immigration stance, so I was interested to know SWP's views on that subject, seen as his username is related to a former English City player of immigrant heritage.

I'm not suggesting he has anti immigration views, and I would also be surprised if he only wanted players to play for City who descended from Druids, so I am genuinely interested in his opinion on the subject. For the record, I'm not really interested in your opinion on the subject, I've "moved on".

You must forever be reading this 'Daily Mail,' it seems to be the default mode put down for resisting irony.

Yes, pompous in spades. Are you for real? You've not got the intellect to come back with anything but platitudes, denials and bitchy put-downs. Come on and have a proper debate or crawl back under your stone.

My username is very obviously Serging White Power is back.

I'm not sure what you are talking about.

That makes two of us. From what I can make out this guy swallowed the PC lexicon whole and is now regurgitating it at random. Some sort of alphabetti-spaghetti. And be careful, he might pull you up for your spelling mistake as he is clearly oh-so superior to the likes of you and me.

No, his education can't be superior to mine as I am fully aware of all the glaring failures of our gallic cousins. He seems to have missed that subject off his knowledge base.

What do you reckon? French mother or carer?

Not for me to speculate, mate. Didn't you notice I'm just a cheeky chap (woooooh, listen her) whose opinions are of no interest?

I understand SWP is having a laugh, I'm sure he's a pretty balanced and level headed person and he's having a bit of fun, some of it at the expense people with far right views. The thing that worries me is that Sir Baconface is taking the whole thing seriously, and is even trying to cosy up to SWP's right wing alter ego. Strange.

You might find the fun was at the expense of some big girl's blouses who were insinuating racism and fascism in response to jokes about the French. And one of them is still digging, would you believe? All very entertaining though so no need to worry about being taken seriously.

I give up, now that this thread has been turned into an anti French thing heres my contribution.
Why are there so many tree lined avenues in Paris......so the German army can march in the shade

Even further off topic, the tree lined avenues of Paris are based on Lord Street in Southport, a costal town 30 miles from Manchester, a popular place for Mancunian mill owners to live. Napoleon III visited, liked it and copied it. So PSG are just copying Manchester again. LOL

They are now trying for Balo:

London, Aug 11 (ANI): Manchester City have rejected a 40 million pound bid from Paris St Germain for striker Mario Balotelli, after coach Roberto Mancini threatened to quit.

PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti had made Balotelli one of his top targets and was confident of luring the Italian striker to France.

But his huge offer was snubbed when Mancini told his bosses he would walk out on the Premier League champions if his fellow Italian was allowed to leave, the Daily Star reports.

Mancini was determined to keep Balotelli, despite the star being one of the most controversial players in Europe.

Mancini admitted there has been strong interest in Balotelli this summer following his Euro 2012 displays.

He said: "Mario did a fantastic European Championship. He's 21, it is clear that he can improve. This summer we had a lot of requests for him." (ANI)

Sky mentioned this earlier in transfer news
