Thought some blues might find this interesting, particularly the direct quote from Chelsea, relating to the racism incident last year.
In other words, their new collection systwm was implemented, as a direct consequence of a small minority embarrassing the club.
No mention of "Points whoring", ticket abuse from Supporters clubs, or even Black Market issues.
Can somebody enlighten me, as to when our fans similarly disgraced themselves to warrant such a draconian measure?

Under the new scheme, Chelsea fans will have to pick up tickets from collection points in the city where the match is taking place rather than the Stamford Bridge ticket office.
The FA employed a similar policy for England's game against Scotland at Celtic Park last November.
The move comes in the wake of the Paris racism incident which saw Chelsea fans filmed singing racist chants and refusing to let a black man board a metro train before the Champions League last-16 first leg tie against Paris St-Germain.
The club have released the plans in light of them securing Champions League football next season with the 1-0 win over Manchester United last Saturday.
ANNOUNCEMENT: Chelsea have a new ticketing procedure for European away games [GETTY]
“Events in Paris this year have reinforced the importance of our existing policy of controlling who has access to match tickets for away European games, and ultimately act as ambassadors for the club”
Chelsea statement
A club statement read: "The policy for the selling of tickets will not change but in future the intention is to have a collection point for the tickets in the city or town where the match is taking place. Previously it has been the Stamford Bridge ticket office.
"Under UEFA's competition regulations, clubs are responsible for the allocation and distribution of match tickets and ultimately for the conduct of their supporters in and close to the stadium. Clubs also have to keep records of the names and addresses of all ticket holders.
