Public sector pay rise

Youre preaching to the choir mate,i know how awful it is and i know how much they take advantage.

Your partner owes them nothing.Let me know if she wants to apply for a 30k job/35hr week where she will be (mostly...) appreciated.
Thanks FantasyIreland but I think you know what i’m Up against ....it’s as if she thinks she’s taking a child’s place on a lifeboat on the Titanic , like the whole nhs would collapse without her, the way theyre treated relies on the staff not putting themselves first & it works .

No problem,i once thought that way too :-)

Not funded apparently. So major redundancies and the ones left have even more workload...

To "come out of existing budgets" - which don't exist yet as they will come from the current spending review conclusions. If Boris wins I expect a rethink on the pay rises affordability will follow.

Seems like after pensions, the public / private sectors are now a bit closer. All good news I think

Typical! Just as I leave they start giving out pay rises.

Anyway, it's going to cause loads of problems if it's not funded. Schools are already broke and on the Brink of disaster, the last thing they need is having to add 2.75% to their greatest cost with no additional income.
