Punk and New Wave thread.

Cracking track mate from a rare as fuck single. I heard they were from Salford but it doesn't matter. My mate owned the single and I'd not heard it for about 30 years. After searching it on YouTube several times it turned up. I could of kissed whoever uploaded it, felt so happy hearing it again. And also the excellent flip side Attack.... Enjoy mate: )

I'm a bit late to this thread!
The singer from Armed Force was from Moss Side, he was a school mate of mine and a blue - nickname Muppet. Was on the Kippax with him before one game and he said he was starting a band and did I want to be in it. Needed to pay a fiver a week for instruments that he or I couldn't play. Turned the offer down - I carried on watching the blues, he concentrated on the band.
One of those decisions where your life could go one way or another!
After Armed Force he had a band called Brigade that also released a couple of singles and one called Yukiotani but don't think they released anything.

I'm going to pass on this one and look forward to the Wembley one next year. I'm not a great fan of the Albert Hall and I saw the Darkadelic tour there a couple of years ago. I'll probably buy the CD more out of curiosity than a must have.
