QPR Post Match

Family friend got out of hospital Friday and Tony Book came to see him at home (childhood mates). I asked TB what he thought about the recent managers. He said of Mancini he was "the most arrogant man I've ever met, but a born winner". On Pellers he said "the most humble, charming down to earth bloke in the world". BUT he said Pellegrini "was a gonner". Whether thats his personal view or that of the club is unclear. I think it was his personal assessment but there does appear to be something not right

It all boils down to supporting a winner or a loser.
Out of our past and current managers Mancini is head and shoulders above when it comes to winning.

Hart
Zabba
Kompany
Milner
Silva
Aguero
Lopes

The rest can honestly do one .......... Clichy is a joke, Mangala is 22m overprices, Sagna is shit, Fernando is no better than Garcia, Nasri is taking it easy now he has his new deal, Yaya dont give a fuck, Willy is no better than Richard Wright, Jovetic is going backwards, Fernandinho head has gone since the world cup hammering from Germany, MDM is too old, Boyata is just shit, Nastastic wont get a look in, Dzeko is a mule, Kolarov is up and down and Navas is no better than AJ

I missed anyone ?
Why Lopes and not Dzeko?

Couple of great long passes from Mangala

Plenty have emphasised the negatives, but there was some moments of quality and we came back from two down twice. Showed a bit of bottle.

I know there are some problems, but I reckon we'll turn it around in the League at least.

When we signed Aguero, Yaya and Silva, they were big big names, like Di Maria was when United signed him, or when Chelsea signed Costa etc. They are all proven at being top top players at the very highest levels within the game. No criticism to some of the lads we have brought in, but they arent exactly the Ronaldo's or Xabi Alonso's of the game. The players we have brought in are not bad players, they are more or less 'like for like' replacements in the most part. We need to improve, not consolidate.

Fair comment, but you have to remember we had our hands tied behind our backs with the restraints of the FFP, so we weren't able to go out splashing £100m here there and everywhere.

Even so, I don't necessarily think that's the right approach....Southampton are above us....how much has their team cost?

Also it's very easy to spend somebody else's money.....(Sheikh Mansour's)....He's not Harry Enfield.

The phrase that goal was worth the admission fee alone is probably overused. Times it by two with Kun's goals today and we really did get value for money.

QPR is a long way to go but worth every penny with Kun's brace!

Yes we just loan out our youth when we need them or sell them.
That's the differance IMO, poorly fucking run..

Well said Marv.

One standout thing about Mangala is his character,he doesn't hide and he always gives his all - I can probably say that about 4 or 5 others.

We didn't need much in the Summer. World Cup and poor preparation saw a slowish start and I think winning the title has taken a little edge away whatever some might say.
