Bit worrying how refs are not giving us free kicks but awarding them to the opposition like they are going out of fashion. 1st goal today was a joke free kick, player tripped himself up.

Helguson uses his "Shearer" technique of get up early and ride the defender, which is VERY hard to deal with. Additionally, we play this BS "zonal marking" from dead balls, which gives the ATTACKER a running start on our standing jump defenders, which is a GREAT advantage to the attacker. Fix THAT and we MIGHT look a tad tidier from dead balls.
Oh, and could we practice ONE THROW-IN........PLEASE?!!
M.O.M. = James Milner!
thing is mate,the "smaller" teams will raise their game v the "big" sides ;)Dirty Harry said:Also the best they'll probably play this season, everytime I've watched them up until now they've been extremely poor tbh.

Hope Kompany and Lescott stay fit becuse the thought of Savic or Toure being in the side for long doesnt appeal.
If we come back from Naples and play like that v Liverpool, we wont get 3 points.
City Raider said:savic didnt have the best of games but losing headers wasnt the big problem, the big problem was where he was losing them - we defended way to deep meaning every header they won was in and around our box - should have pressed game higher up the pitch
having said all that - phew!!
and there must have been 25 passes before the third goal

Which part of post match discussion don't you understand ?Michael Corleone said:100% THIS.
After each game, their are several topics to discuss. You can't talk about them all in one fuck off thread.
In fairness I don't mind most of the mods. But It's just the ones that think they are somebodies because they moderate a fucking internet forum. Get over yourself.

Villarreal was the same tight pitch but we literally COULDN´T give the ball away if we´d tried. Tonight we gave the ball away for funmarco said:tight ground and noisey, a lot of teams will struggle down there, great performance from the lads to go on and win the game united have been scraping these results for years, one thing in our favour here is tonights game might send the wrong message out to other managers to take us on
