QPR Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Its no wonder we have the bitter blues tag, take the positives out of the game.

Another clean sheet, six on the bounce
Undefeated in 7
Don't forget QPR beat Chelski and drew with Spuds at home and WHU away in January

Keep the faith

some posts in this thread are a fucking embarrassment. the title has not "gone", it wasn't "the worst we've played" we DID look like scoring. we were away from home facing a team fighting for their lives, we were missing two of our best players one of which is our captain. the conditions were terrible, yes the same for both sides but its a leveller. their goalie had the game of his life. add all that up and be thankful we are so good apart from ONE save from joe we were in total control. we have a point away from home so lets take that and go again next week.

Ban them. It might not be fair but it 'd make you feel good. Some folk have very short memories.

Very dissapointed with Barry, Milner, Clichy and Nasri. That lack of width and mobility is killing me.

We have an excellent team with one major flaw which will probably cost us the title. We do not have a single player capable of delivering a proper cross. The passing from our wide players is hopeless. The best ball played in came from Edin! We score most of our goals by creating space through the middle but it doesn't work when teams park the bus.

Right right & right again

It's clear that we lack pace. We are probably the team in the league with the slowest build-up play. I can't even remember the last time we had a successful counter attack.. We seriously need players who can take on a player and dribble past an opponent to create an opportunity..

Sinclair had a decent 10 mins...dont shoot me but he did well in that time.

If you are up against a parked bus you:

dont try to walk it in
try with long shots, try with crosses, fast runs on both sides
do contstant movements in attacks, coming deeper, running into the box, moving defenders around you, making some little extra space for others

Until late in the game we didnt do any crossing, Clichy tried it sometimes, but he can cross like Hart probably.

Fast attacks on the sides werent happening, like players running down to the line with pace, of course starting Nasri/Silva had a big role in it. What Mancini hoped? Nasri/Silva likes to be in the middle, thats were Redknapp had 3 players like Mbia, Derry, Granero.

And finally when we had some good chances (Dzeko moving out wide, or Agüero beating the def. on the left and Silva moved well to get the pass ending up with the Zab header) we missed those chances.

RVP would score 1 or 2 goals from tha chances we had tonight.

Not good enough for City.

United will be probably 10 points ahead of us when we meet Liverpool. And they will cause more problems to our defence than any our opponents did in January.

Massive over reaction from some people on bluemoon.I see it as a point gained and we can still win that title

You seriously see a point at QPR as a point gained???
