I know where your coming from GDM, and deep down I know the team/squad is the best we've ever had bar what Mal & Joe produced, and on paper should beat any team and generally do, but there is always that little devil at the back of my mind saying "oooh this is the banana skin we've been waiting for !". Another fa cup and league title will settle my demons once and for all !. I'm still going with my two draws though ;) .

two draws? come on, be a bit more optimistic! Sure QPR need points, but we need the points as well. We are on arguably our best run yet this season.

The team that Mal and Joe built finished an average of tenth in the old Division One. Imagine the meltdown on here if we finished fifth!

This team is better in actual and relative terms than that team IMO.

As to two draws - I hope not as I reckon you're hope for the double will be a forlorn one if that happens :-)

Watching QPR, I think QPR might field their 4-5-1 with Adel Taarabt as the main non-striker, like QPR always does against bigger teams.

I don't doubt the desire to see QPR through would be absent but I just fear the team won't be able to break QPR's defense down. With that however, QPR don't have the best defence, and is nowhere near.

Good luck to the team. We'll be cheering, as always.

This QPR defence shipped 4 on Saturday, they hold no fear for us, they will huff & Puff but as long as we are of the same mid set that beat Stoke, no one will beat us!!

CTID

Forza Mancini

just heard tarabaat and remy are doubtfull for tuesday.

Good but it should not make a difference. We will be too strong and should look to improve our goal difference.

Anyone who thinks this is straightforward is mistaken.

Night game at Loftus Rd will be difficult. They are on a good run in the league and will be fired up for this. I can see us losing this. Especially without Kompany and Kolo Toure who would normally deputise for him

The first 20-30 mins is key.

Keep it solid, control the crowd and we will win.

If we match their effort our quality will be too much.

They'll be sitting deep and trying to pinch a goal. Their recent form is good with decent results against Spurs and Chelsea. FA Cup is irrelevant to this game

only way we lose this is complacency, which I trust Mancini will root out if it is in the players. We need to keep this run going. we did well enough against Stoke for an hour without Kompany , who are a tougher team, not to mention Brittania is a hard place to go. Nastasic will be back and QPR will probably park the bus anyways.
