As Ralph Waldo Emerson said 150 years ago, its motto is "by taste are ye saved".I’m not a very religious person, but the Church of England has a very distinct beauty which I haven’t seen in all my travels and research. I cannot put my finger on it. It seems almost “royal” in itself.

I used to live in Windsor and it is strange seeing the procession travel a route that I know very well.I’m finding this procession down the country lane just as moving, if not more so, than the procession through London. Very touching, a handful of people in extreme quiet.

Interesting seeing armed officers clearly visible in Windsor now, when they were less obvious earlier in the day in London (from the bits I managed to glimpse on the Sky news YT channel while at work).
Some go on football threads instead to talk about it.Look at all those pricks recording it on their phones. It’s a fucking funeral procession ffs. Do they whip their phones out every time they see a hearse drive past?
