Queues outside M1 turnstiles and over the top security

They didn't ask me either, I normally just get there early and never have any bother, but was delayed yesterday, and was about 10 minutes before ko, and the queue was huge so I missed it by a couple of minutes yesterday.
 
The unzip your coat stuff began when the just stop oil morons started acting like twats at sporting venues.

Interesting as I'm in 316. I've not tried N1 but my mate in the next seat tried it a while back as he'd been told you could get in there but it didn't work for him. When the queue at N1 is reasonable and I have time before KO I'll try it as I'm sick of M1.

It's worth trying, I went in yesterday with a couple of lads who sit in 314, they hadn't tried N either until yesterday and they got in without a problem.

I got asked yesterday to open my coat,just unzipped about 50% and the steward said ok,then the wand crap.
I'd love to know if they can enforce you,as it pisses me off when its cold and they only seem to ask one in ten to do it.
 
Do they ask the female fans to open coats? I’ve never been asked to open my coat or anything different from usual wand sweep and bag check (twice with bag check). I have my epipens in a smaller bag inside my ordinary bag and have never been asked to open that.
Because I’d heard about heightened security, yesterday I made a point of saying ‘the other bag is for my medication’ and the security just nodded, smiled and put the little thingymabob round to say my bag had been checked!
So maybe a bit of inconsistency there? Or do I have an innocent looking face? ;-) :-)
 
My match hat as almost 200 badges on it mostly metal. On two separate occasions by mistake after attending straight from work I've gained entry with a metal stanley knife the wond never detected.
It's down to who you get at the gate if I am asked to open my jacket or remove my hat. Totally inconsistent

How many on here MOAN about the "deadly threat" of the odd away fan in home end and now maybe that's why stewards are asking people to open jackets/coats and yes I had two layers on and didn't mind em asking me to in case they found me wearing a Paul Rideout 95 shirt on and I wasn't welcome ha ha. So well worth the bother so as not to hear the shrieks of " Get him out "as a lone autistic mind your own business type gets piled on for quietly applauding their corner, Come on we've all sat in the home end on our travels but standing there back in the day was ace and recognised as we walked around the pitch to the "designated "away end. CITY CITY CITY.. When we were in Saudi for world club finals in December and world cup Qatar year before yes proper airport security as you enter the stadium, so things could be worse.

Plus he almost scored a goal. However it resulted in a corner so that wasn’t too bad. Just in the process of re-watching the game from my TNT recording yesterday. I’m a bit daft like that as you don’t have the luxury of rewind at the game!! :-)
I actually want to see how they cover Calvin Klein’s attack on Rodders. That happened right in front of us and the VAR machine was in danger but not as much as Rodders was. It could have been a very, very nasty injury.

No offence Eccles but you aren't a blond bombshell in your 20s. They have started strip searching those at M1..
 
Loads missing the point here, I dont think many (if any) are moaning about the searches, even if the wands do absolutely fuck all and not all stewards ask the same thing re. unzipping coats etc.

The issue is M1 has 5 turnstiles and only have 5 people doing the 'searches' against both Burnley and Everton ive been stood in the snaking queue (great idea to change the way it snakes so it looks like the queue is shorter when you get there) looking at the turnstiles with absolutely nobody going in or 1 person whilst there are at least 5 or 6 stewards stood there scratching their arses rather than pick up a wand and help the searchers to speed up the queue.

I keep wanting to try N1 but by the time I usually get to the ground cant be arsed getting to the front of that queue only to be sent to M1
 
Phone with a couple of cards in is all i bring. They have a job to do. Not a fan of Ali akbar letting rip thanks. For 12 years i had to look under my car before getting in it!!

It seems the million dollar question is will our M1 season tickets work at the N1 turnstiles? Some say they don’t others say they do. Only one way to find out.
