Queues

I wish posters would stop harping on about blowing up queues outside the stadium
To the terrorists it's far more important to get the bomb into the venue even if that means they kill far less people than they would outside
It's all about being live on telly
Well I've news for you TPP.

Our searches won't prevent someone getting one in as they are totally inadequate, and invariably stopped once the queues are huge, so it might put them off trying to get inside, in which case they'll more likely just take the easy route, outside.
Any attack, whether inside or outside, will be on the TV within minutes of it happening, so I'm sure they will go for the greater casualty figure, rather than the 'oh how clever are we' statement.

You are probably correct mate regarding the physical searches. I don't know what the searches were like in Paris that stopped the bomber entering the stadium. Obviously there was something suspicious. From memory didn't he turn up without a ticket!!
But what the nutters really aspire to is setting a bomb off on live television. Of course setting one off outside in the queues would kill and maim even more of us infidels and the images would be fired around the world on Facebook and Twitter within moments, but it's not being shown in real time

There are so many soft targets, shopping centres, markets (Germany!!) a celebratory parade (France) and queues at a football match. But they're not live on telly, just the aftermath

No-one would see it anyway, given that BT's audience is so low! ;)

I really doubt ISIS are checking football fixtures on Sky to see which ones will be televised live. Lets just have dearches at the games that will be on tele then if thats the case!
They will go for biggest casualties every time

terrorists will love this thread...........now they know exactly what to do......you ****s

And how easy it would be. The current security is just a token gesture/joke, it achieves nothing and certainly will not deter a terrorist nor does it make us safer. If anything as others have correctly said it would appear to be make us soft targets.

One inside after a search .... and then one to hand 'the package' through the gates near the Gents toilets on the ground level .... Makes the searches totally useless.

I'm sure you all remember the Boston Marathon bombing. Where and who did the bombers strike? People watching the marathon. If some of you seriously think their be all and end all is to do their disgusting act/s on live TV, you really should think again. The London tube bombing. The Madrid train bombing. The list goes on. Non of these events were caught live on TV, but they made news all around the World straightaway.

Regardless if a suicide bomber get's into a stadium or not, his or her sole purpose is to blow up as many people as possible. With hundreds of people stood in queues four wide, and a couple of feet apart outside the stadium, it is sadly a perfect moment for a suicide bomber to strike.

if anyone wants to get a can in, put it in a glove and walk towards the steward with glove in hand, already in the air ready for frisking. My friend has done this at every game and got it through each time. That can could be a gun, bomb or whatever.

it's quite funny watching what other stuff people have smuggled in when they pull out of the pants (ohhhh matron) on the concourses before kick off.

It shows what a complete farce the whole situation is. Or as others have alluded to, the lengths the club will go to force fans to buy food and drink inside the stadium under the pretence of 'security'.
