Queues

Double up on the people with the bleep wand things and speed it up ! 1 queue / 4 security = faster entry .

Other thing I don’t get is City Square shut 15 minutes before kick off so surely this is adding to the problem ie everyone at once turning up ?

I joined the queues in P at the south stand at 14:20 and was in the ground about 4-5 minutes later so no complaints.

Ridiculous queue at Z today. Very slow until just before kick off then they speeded it up. Not sure why they couldn't speed it up in the first place. Three Showsec guys were wandering along apologising saying it was due to short staff. Not sure why they didn't just get a wand and help at the entrance.

Got to P at 2.30 and didn't get in until 8 minutes after kick off. Pretty ridiculous. Few people pushing in right near the front which didn't help matters. Loads of stewards standing around at the next entrance along for the spirals where there was no queue whatsoever but none came to help out with the checks until gone 3 o clock. One particularly annoying steward with a bit of an attitide kept creating more and more queues next to the actual queue when we were approaching kick off which was completely pointless when you have all got to go through the same turnstiles anyway - it just added to the confusion and frustration.

And these checks are completely pointless anyway. Can I check in your bag? Unzip the top, slight glance inside, yeah that's fine. When the wands are even switched on they don't wave them close enough to the person half the time, and in the event that they do go off, 'what's that, keys? ' yeah probably, 'OK in you go then'
And like people have said, a crowd of people waiting to get in is an easy enough target for someone to attack anyway, without them even having to buy a ticket!

At least the games are great to watch once we get in the fecking place eh, and city were kind enough not to score until everyone was in!

Well early means like today for example I had no que at 14:05. Had a couple of pints and was at my seat 14:50.

Gates normally open 90 mins before kick off

The queues are generated by a lot of people turning up at the same time.
What would your queue be like if we all turned up at 1 hour before kick off.

I think they rotate the turnstile queuing each game, I'm in M1, first game we were there half an hour before kick off, and was in after 5 minutes, second game arrived same time queue took 20 minutes (less on the wands, and one old bloke doing it by hand, and taking an age over each person).

Sadly the club don't give a f**k bout how long it takes.

I wasn't there today, but watching sky "game of the day" it was evident at kick off that there were huge numbers of empty seats in certain blocks, and they almost all (family stand excepted) filled up after about 10-15 minutes.

The South Stand lower has been shat on, turning up at 2.25pm and missing the kick off while supporters going up the spirals take 1 min to get in shows there is something wrong.

As people only pay £600/650 there the club does not care. Thanks Danny,
