Son of Louis with the same moral standards

There's a personal element to it for me. Sadly, my aunt died this week and her late husband was a business partner of Willie Satinoff, a fan who was close to Busby and lost his life in the crash.
The interesting story about him is that Louis Edwards was trying to get on the board but an influential director called George Whittaker wouldn't entertain the notion of Edwards being on the board & was championing Satinoff. Whittaker died suddenly just before United's last match (at Arsenal) then Satinoff also died at Munich. Two days after the crash, with Whittaker and Satinoff now dead, Edwards was co-opted onto the board.

Not sure whether you are fishing here Pidge ? or maybe just too young.
I knew a post would appear like this, I had a few suspects in mind, you weren't one of them.BezzMCFC said:Dont wana seem disrespectful but its been 55 years.. It seems a bit "hey look at us" now. Fed up of havinf it pushed in my face everywhere i look.
Eccles Blue said:RIP especially to Frank Swift a brilliant goal keeper and one of our own, and Duncan Edwards who would have gone on to be one of the greatest footballers of all time. (IMHO)
I watched them play their last match at OT and their first match back after the crash with Harry Gregg and Bill Foulkes, who had been on the plane, in the side.
BezzMCFC, yes it has been 55 years but for some of us, who were teenagers at the time, it still burns in our memory. I will always respect their memory. :-)
