Radamel Falcao Zarate

Problem is, if Chelsea get Falcao he will massively improve them.

Same as RVP going to the rags.

There is / was mileage in signing either of these players to improve our side, but almost as importantly it would have prevented our nearest rivals from gaining ground on us.

If PSG is still after him I think will be good if we get 25M for him...and use the money to buy Falcao!! But the question to be put here is:What he will preffer? To come and at us and play in a rotated system or to be the main striker at Chelsea?

No club will offer more than 20m for Mario.

Rubbish.

I said NDJ will not be sold for 10m and many posters reply like you btw :)

Last night I had a dream we sold Balotelli to PSG, swapped Walcott for Dzeko(no cash!!!!) and signed Falcao. So for this reason Falcao's in the bag.

Thought not ;)

Reported Chelsea target Falcao has heaped praise on the European champions

Atletico Madrid ace Falcao has fuelled speculation linking him with a Chelsea move by voicing his admiration for the European champions.

Rumours that the 26-year-old Colombia international could move to Stamford Bridge
in January have intensified in recent weeks, while Blues striker Fernando Torres has been
linked with a return to his former club Atletico as part of the deal.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are also thought to be interested in Falcao, who has
scored 10 Primera Liga goals in as many games this season, but the striker has
suggested he would be keen on a Blues move.

He told the Daily Mail: "Chelsea are champions of Europe and there is not much more to say than that.

"Even after winning the Champions League they still go and sign players of the highest quality. Their ambition is clear.

"I was also a big fan of (former Chelsea forward) Gianfranco Zola when I was growing up."

Falcao does not believe he would have trouble adjusting to the physical demands of the Premier League should he make the move to
England.

"I would not be worried about the physical aspect of the Premier League," he said. "I have scored goals in Argentina, Portugal and now Spain."

Falcao added: "I am confident I can adapt my game to any league. I would welcome the challenge of the Premier League.

"I have watched the Premier League for a long time. There is so much quality and it is such an exciting league. Of course it is nice to think I might play in it."

- Shit.
I really really don't want Falcao to lead Chelsea's attack.

sounds very 'come and get me' that. If he goes anywhere it'll be those cunts.

Even Juve was not able to spend more than 16M on one striker. I'm sure Milan clubs will want Mario but can't offer more than 15-18.

Worst case scenario: is it conceivable, (if they get rid of Torres), Chelsea may go for both Falcao and Cavani?
It would be some outlay but they dont seem bothered too much by FFP. Ibramovic sometimes seems a law unto himself.

Of his ilk yes. Then selling others is the way forward.

People would question signing a DMF because we have Barry, Rodwell and Garcia but if Busquets came available we'd be mad not to go for him and then part with one of the above. Same applies here. We are talking about one of the best players on the planet, I'd happily trade Balotelli and Tevez, or begrudingly Dzeko (great player but doesn't suit us).

The player and his family will decide which club he wants to play for and equally as important which location he wants to play in and it's a fact of life that London has a bigger pull than Manchester that's why we didn't get Hazard.
You can hardly blame him can you apart from the weather you have all the attractions that London (one of the World's great Cities) has to offer.

RVP is besotted with the Rags and SAF that's why we didn't get RVP.

It's not about money with the creme de la creme it's also lifestyle choices and there are some things MCFC cannot compete with.

Falcao will only join us if Chelsea don't bid because the London factor will always win over foreign players.
