Radamel Falcao Zarate

Can the Mod's please lock the striker threads atleast until we shift one of ours first, if Bobby wants to that is. It's getting ridiculous, Falcao is a great player and he would improve us. But we already have over £100m worth of strikers and Falcao is NOT coming.

funny thing happend when i was walking into the civic,i saw falcao getting out of his brown alegro,,messi got out as well and asked a taxi driver the quickest way to eastlands,strange but true.

I think if we have a team of 11 strikers then every one would be happy :) . No need to dribble the ball, just shoot at goal from wherever you are. Our shots on goal stats would enter the Guinness book

It always baffles me when posters come on a thread they don't like or are not interested in & ask the mods to lock it.

Real tried to come in for Aguero aswell. Athletico will NOT sell to their arch rivals. Aguero has a clause in his contract where he cannot sign for Madrid within 2 years of joining City.

Yeah im pretty sure we wouldn't put a clause in Agueros contract that involves another club.
Athletico will sell to their rivals as well just like every other team in the history of football has at the right price.
 
if a team hits his release clause they have no option but to accept so it doesnt matter about real being there arch rivals. dzeko and ballo out falcao in save abit on the wage bill as well job done, then again more chance of sinclair bein top scorer.

Great player but some rich team will end up paying 50+ million for him and he wont end up at city. I hope Madrid splash the cash on him so they stay away from Sergio

They paid 47 million Euros for him there not gunna sell him for £27 Million
 
Imagine Yaya making the runs through the middle on the break and passing to arguably the most lethal finisher in Europe. Or actually being threatening from corners with his amazing heading. Or someone other than Yaya and Tevez who is willing to take a long shot, which we desperately need when we play teams who park the bus and we try and walk the ball into the net.

I love Dzeko and Balotelli, but they lack consistency. Falcao is an upgrade in every way to Dzeko, and I just don't see Balotelli ever achieving this fabled 'potential'.
Also, although he's a striker, it pissed me off immensely that Dzeko stayed forward and looked so lethargic at 2-1. Was he really hoping we'd win 3-1 against a team that almost had 4 times the amount of shots we had? If he hung back, marked players and disposed of some crosses, we'd of had a famous victory.
 
It will never happen though, there is no room.

We would have to sell 2 strikers if we want Falcao as he is not the type you can bench every other week under rotation.

If anything our midfield needs seeing to, We have no issue scoring goals but we are losing midfield battles often in the Championd League.

Mario can go but not Tevez.

Tevez is good for Aguero's moral in my opinion and is still one if not out best overall player!

Nobody will pay Tevez's wages anyway, he will see out his contract and go back home on a free.
