massive fan off dzeko, but if it took shipping him and mario out for us to get falcao in with guidetti as our 4th choice, id take it every day of the week, there is simply not a number 9 anywhere like as good as falcao in world football at the minute
 
I have got a real big feeling the January window is going to be hectic for both us and Chelsea.

It makes sense for Chelsea to go after Falcao as they need another striker, but after going out and signing all these young superstars in the Summer, does Abramovich really want to fork out another 50m on a 27 year old striker in his peak?

Neymar's new comments regarding Oscar's texts to him pleading for him to join Chelsea, along with the fact the Brazillian Serie A finishes in January, it would make sense for Chelsea to go all out for him. After all, Neymar has seen both Lucas head to PSG and Oscar to Chelsea and everyone in Brazil is saying he needs to move to Europe now.

Where would he fit in Barca? They have Tello, Villa, Sanchez and Pedro in wide attacking positions, Real have Ronaldo where Neymar usually plays - plus now is not the time Madrid or Barcelona will go out and blow big money on star signings due to the Spanish ecenomical crisis.

I personally think Roman is going to go after Neymar. For me as well, our playing style could suit Neymar, we don't need another out and out striker, but we do need a fast goalscorer who likes to play on the wing and add another dimension. Neymar over Falcao would be a more sensible option, but Falcao will be more of an instant impact option - although we do not need another striker.

Either way, whilst both would be very costly additions, I would love to see them both in a City shirt - both players are unreal talents.

Got a feeling as well Juventus will come in for Dzeko or Balotelli in January as well, but we will see.
 
If we do sign him, we'd squander a lot less chances and probably have a better conversion rate! I mean he does miss chances but he is one of the most clinical strikers in the world. He's scored 8 goals from around only 25 shots this season in La Liga (that doesn't include his hattrick against Chelsea either). He recently scored two hattricks in four days (vs. Bilbao then vs. Chelsea) To compare, Messi has scored 8 goals from around 38 shots.

After what he did to Chelsea I would be very surprised if they don't go for him and as they seem less restricted by Financial Fair Play could be favourites to get him.
 
I could see either Tevez or Dzeko moving to Italy this winter. We are finally in a position where we dont have any deadwood.

The Italian clubs are trying to considerably lower their wage bills, teams will struggle to pay Tevez 100k let alone his current 200k.

Dzeko and Mario maybe, but not Tevez.

It's the same old story ... plenty of clubs would want them, but who literally can afford their wages. For me its the usual suspects ... Anzhi, PSG or Chelski !
 
Mario and Dzeko out to get Falcao makes sense. Rather keep Dzeko than Mario if we are keeping one off them.
 
after their spending in the last two windows, id be amazed if chelsea paid out the money for him. especially as there's other areas of the squad that still need improving imo, or will do in the next couple of years (the defence). we've cut our spending back substantially in the last two windows, and probably have the space in the wage bill for him after shifting alot of the dead wood. i can see it set up for us getting him in january, and what an impact that could have

Falcao in

On paper it makes perfect sense, less wages, easier to keep three strikers happy (gives Guidetti a chance) and we would then have strikers who are all very consistent. We must do all we can to get Falcao. Missing out on Hazard and RVP is bad enough.
 
Would be a dream to get him, I think Chelsea is perfect for him and if they make an offer he will go there considering he will get alot more game time and hasn't got alot of competition.

A big club will make an offer for Falcao in January. We will tell the story in @revistadelaliga from 6pm (SS1HD)

London hardly a tropical paradise is it? Who would want someone who bases their decision on a weather forecast anyway? If its correct he wants to come to England that's evidently not his motivation as stronger clubs in Spain would surely want him. He's also a "devout christian" according to the esteemed truth bible that is wikipedia so maybe the "bright lights" you're referring to wouldn't interest him as much as some.

Just spoke to Alan Nixon (@reluctantnicko) and he's one of the journalists who certainly believes Mancini was taking a look at Falcao.
