Rags Debt - Daily Mail & Panorama [Merged]

what rags overlook is that when that greedy bastard bacon face demanded stud fees as well as winnings for rock of gibraltar the matter went to court but was eventually settled out of court. mcmanus & magnier then started to hoover up as many united shares as they could with the specific intention of getting into a position where they could sack bacon face. however, the united board opposed them and supported bacon face so they gave up on that project and sold their shares to the glazers instead.

the rest as they say is history but bacon face, who still backs the glazers as good owners and serially lies about the rags transfer policy, ultimately is the cause of the shite situation they now find themselves in.

ha fucking ha.
Spot on - it was Fergusons greed that brought this situation about. Instead of being content with his share of the winnings - a substantial amount in itself which would keep any normal bloke in clover for many a year - the nasty bastard wanted more and literally bit the hand that was feeding him.

Publically humiliated by the whole fiasco Magnier and McManus walked away and in came the rat faced Glazers.

Baconface looked the gifthorse in the mouth and now the Scum will be made to pay for the self centered bastards shocking behaviour.

I'm from Leeds so don't think i'm sticking up for Utd but haven't they already spent like £20mil or something on a couple of youngsters?, it looks like a normal transfer season for them imo.

it's all relative but buying a couple of low key youngsters doesn't represent the rags normal summer transfer dealings. it was the same last year. obertan, diouf plus owen on a freebie. not quite like spunking over £30 million on berbaflop only 2 years ago is it?

don't forget they regularly broke the transfer record in previous seasons & generally threw money around in the transfer market like a drunken sailor on a saturday night. rooney (£27m), ferdinand (£30m), veron (£28m). plus anderson & nani for £17m each only 3 years ago. the list is almost endless.

now bacon face bleats about there being 'no value in the market' despite gill repeatedly claiming that bacon face has £90m to spend on players if he wants. this is clearly bullshit. the fact is that in less than 2 years the rags have gone from regularly paying up to £30m for one player to paying much less than that for a whole 12 months of transfers. that's a big shift in a short time.

anyone can see that at the very least they urgently need at least a top class keeper, striker and central midfielder but there's no sign of them shelling out for any of them. everyone knows the fuckers are a busted flush but they just won't admit it.

But there is no value in the transfer market hense £30mil for Milner etc, sure you have the money now and it doesn't realy matter to you but City shouldn't have to pay that much for avergae players and neither should anyone else.

Mate the rags paid an astronomical £30 million 8 YEARS AGO to you lot (Leeds?) for a guy that had cost £12.5 million the season before..that was an entire seasons budget for most of the top sides back then..around the same time they paid £27.5 million for Veron,a man who made Viera look like Usain Bolt...Then 5 years ago paid £30 million for a fat teenage scouser with potential....serious dough then..

Milner has at least as much potential as Ferdinand had-he's an England regular, has had a great season at club level and cna play in a number of positions all over the pitch.

For the rags to suggest that there's currently "no value in the market" is utter hypocritical bullshit for a team that has spent fortunes on individual players year
in,year out.

They're fucking skint ,potless and I doubt very much if they will be buying players of any quality without selling first.
It's now starting to sink in with even the most head-in-the sand rags....Long may it continue-call it "payback time."

It's the scum megga spending that led to this"no value in the market bollux" lets not forget it was them that commanded 80 million for the Transvestite..

They set the benchmark which they can no longer aspire to...

Tough fookin titty...

"No value in the market" roughly translates to " we cant afford it".. ..ha ha tickety tock.

you're missing the point mate because the whole argument is nothing to with city or their spending power. it's about the rags lack of spending power.

for years the rags have led the market paying stupid money for players. for example bacon face spunked £28m on veron 9 years ago. that wasn't 'value in the market' even in 2001 but hey ho there was plenty more where that came from. and £30m for berbaflop only 2 years ago? now they simply can't compete for the best players or even very good ones.

this 'no value in the market' bullshit is just a poor attempt at a smokescreen (which fools nobody, not even rag fans) to disguise the fact their transfer kitty is only a fraction of what it used to be. do you really believe bacon face would have signed owen on a free last summer if he had the funds to buy a real superstar?

"Well I think its disgusting tbh, the worlds top clubs should ignore what they've paid for players and drop their prices drastically so that all the lesser teams can compete for the worlds best players on an even keel and have a more realistic chance of champions league football".

Sir alex ferguson june 2010...

Carlsberg don't do bullshit-but if they did.. :)

If the rags had no debt and could invest the 40m+ they make every year on players I cannot see Baconface coming out with this "value for money" crap he would be in there like a fucking shot.

There should be a cap on transfer fees. That cap should be set by the much loved 'Sir' Alex Baconface. Whatever his budgetary limit is should become the maximum permissible by law internationally. Everyone else should only be allowed to spend a percentage of that based on the number of trophies that they have won since $ky was formed with a coefficient ratio recognition factor based on your comparative clubs wealth at the time that ManUre sold out to the stock market. This would ensure that the rags could keep up a pretence of continuing to be a big wealthy club now that they've managed to run their business into the ground.

Disagree with you mate, Baconface should be the sole arbiter of what is good value or not for any transfer and if he says it isn't you can't buy him. Simples just let him be in charge of the whole transfer system. (Arf)
