Rags Thread

United fans

I expect the usual why do we have another thread about them, but I dont care.

I was at the pub last night (Winnington Lodge) with my mates, who are United fans, and some of the stuff I heard their "fans" say was trully laughable.

-"Rooney get the fucking ball you fat useless ****"
-"Park should never be a footballer, should have done gymnastics with the rest of the slanty eyes"
-"Bloody hell Vidic, your better than than Messi what are you doing?!"

My personal favourite;

-"get Nani on now Fergie you twat"
*2 minutes later after Villa scores*
-" fuck me Fergie whyd you bring him on, you know he cant defend!"

this makes me so happy to be a blue, and not have this sort of abuse aimed at our own player, I understand that our fans do give out abuse to the players, however its usually on this message board and its usually a well constructed argument, rather than just a lot of shouting.

Never read our matchday forum then?

What about posting about United in the City area of the forum? Some of us don't like that! :)

Re: United fans

I saw United kept their record in tact last night,Second match running and their end of the stadium emptied like there was a fire drill taking place.

Man Utd relax in London before the game
They checked into the city's posh Landmark Hotel before enjoying a leisurely trip to the theatre to see West End hit musical Jersey Boys, based on the lives of the 1960s rock 'n roll group, the Four Seasons. Boss SIR ALEX FERGUSON also made the West End trip
Upbeat ... Fergie smiles as he leaves the show

Re: Baconface shaking

Apparently, taggart asked for another ball at half-time last night.

"Why?" asked the ref.

"Because Barcelona are playing with that one," replied the purple-nosed one.

Plastic Facebook Rags

Sorry for another rag thread - I was considering posting this in the 'photos that epitomise rags' thread but I think this could spark a few decent responses...

I'm sure that most of you with a facebook account will know the kind of rag I'm talking about. Most of them never go to games, but will happily spend £30 on booze in the pub with their 3D glasses on whilst still using the 'can't afford tickets' excuse. This rag in particular is incredibly annoying - I'd estimate that 20% of his status updates are something to do with a United win or a City loss, even though he couldn't even name half the players. The first time he went to Old Trafford was earlier this season for one of those shitty tours (I know this because he documented his day out on facebook... haha). The only game he's ever been to was the Gary Neville match last week, yet you'd think from his updates he was a die-hard fan...

This is his most recent status update that made me laugh:
