Oh, but Trafford is a metropolitan borough in Greater Manchester. So you should have kept it to yourself, mate.

Thats why we are Manchester City,we are in the city of manchester wheras you are not..Ever wondered why no clubs are called London City or london United...cos there arent any football stadiums in the City of london its all offices and banks..All the clubs in london call themselves by their location Arsenal.Tottenham,Chelsea, west ham blah blah blah.

We are true manchester...i know you hate it but thats why i say it..so live with it in your world if you like...but you're living a lie.

oh btw..tafford only came into greater manchester in the 70s..just thought id tell you..

From wiki..
Greater Manchester is a metropolitan county in North West England, with a population of 2.6 million.[2] It encompasses one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United Kingdom and comprises ten metropolitan boroughs: Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan, and the cities of Manchester and Salford. Greater Manchester was created on 1 April 1974 as a result of the Local Government Act 1972.

So you admit, you're referring to the county, created just 37 years ago (that number rings a bell) but not the CITY of Manchester, a settlement which was created almost 2000 years ago and gained city status in the 19th Century, the city which MCFC represents.

By that logic there is nothing stopping Wigan, Oldham, Bolton or Bury trying to leech of our city's great name. But then that's because those clubs aren't adept at stealing things that don't belong to them, shirt colours, ground name, nick name, you know that kind of thing.

Re: Rags Grind My Gears

Put him down now boys, he's had enough for today. Why get involved with the fucking leeches, you are bigger than that.

You have already won first prize in the lottery of life by being born BLUE.

Let him slink off to his pool of red slime and wallow in his self satisfied smugness ( for now ). But safe in the knowledge that those little voices in his head will come acalling many many times in his troubled and not so Rosey future.

Go now you bastard son of fergiscum and try to understand what being a BLUE really means. It's my oxygen, my life, my CITY.

Really?

I was just asked if Manchester United were in Lancashire and called Lancashire United would I still support them? And the answer to that is shockingly a resounding yes. Or am I missing something again?

I don't understand the anger, I really don't. Get over it.

You have entitlement issues, and delusions of grandeur. Being a fan of any club doesn't make you any better than any other football fan, and individuality will always flaw your generalisations of the "Red Scum". I guarantee that you know precisely diddly-shit about me, apart from my favourite football team.
