Rags V Real...

The whole media reaction to this (besides a few like Clive Myrie as seen above!) has deepened my belief that there is an extreme pro-United agenda in the media. The back pages didn't even try to hide it with the exception of The Times which always offers a more neutral view. NO other club in English football could ever hope for such backing after a controversial decision went against them. It's on par with a prominent national figure dying.

Pigeonho will swear till he's RED in the face that there is no agenda!

There are quite a few rags at work - same everywhere, I suppose - and most of them are obnoxious, know-nothing, never-go-to-games wankers.

Anyway, the worst one of the lot has been having a few pops at me lately (he claimed I don't go to games, until a mate put him right, being the most recent).

So this morning, as soon as I saw him, I said, "I hear they're bringing out than Man U. dart board again. No trebles!"

I didn't wait for him to reply, but I could hear him mumbling something as I walked away. It gave me a deep sense of satisfaction, I can tell you.

True,i've never seen nothing like it.

They are an institution, they have their 'fans' everywhere, and,as such, and because of that, they are treated very differently to the rest of us,as has become very evident over the past 24hrs.

Its difficult to challenge and change such a monster but if any club can......

It's as if someone gave Mansour a challenge he couldn't achieve ;)

And that starts with a manager capable of handling and delivering on that challenge, but this isn't the thread for such debate.........

I'm a supporter of both clubs and all I wanted to see was good football being played. The red card shore changed the entire chemistry of Man U and Madrid sure took advantage of it. I am still upset about the referee's decision and the right thing that he should have done was to consult the other officials since he himself was not sure about the call. It leaves me to ask a question, what is the purpose of the advanced technology available to these prestige games? I honestly think the referee should be punished not because of the wrong decision that he has made but because of the failure to use the available technology. By doing this will work as a negative re-enforcement as other officials will pay keen attention to the technology they have at hand in making future decisions. United was leading before the red card, yes. But if you were to analyse their mechanics as they defend and attacked you would understand why such a decision would affect them. the unit was interrupted by that card

The reaction of the media to last night is incredible. i dont think I have ever seen anything so unbalanced before - there has been hardly any mention of the way some of the rag players, ferdinand especially, reacted after the final whistle which i think was a disgrace. Also, all this shite about the ref has let baconface off the hook, he spent 5 minutes after the red card raving at the 4th official, meanwhile Madrid brought modric on & changed the game. The horrible twats got exactly what they deserved, hopefully Chelsea will do the business too.
