They attempted to kick him off the park tonight but he had the beating of them, had a very good game. Also tried to be honest in the box again but this time he was correctly rewarded. In fact he looks like he can win penalties and free kicks for fun; has that ability to dangle the ball in front of the opponent and then move it at the last second.

Love seeing him play with a smile on his face. Jesus and Sane are infectious and they seem to have become good mates which can only help.

Sterling needs to start getting the credit he deserves from all blues, sure you can say he could be a bit more clinical(he has shown it in both his passing and shooting he's actually just lacking consistency with it) but once he does get there he will be among the best in Europe. Aside from that anyone still doubting his abilities on reflection of this season so far needs to watch another sport or learn a bit about the game we call football.

A sign of how much Pep rates him that he was taken off to rest/protect him for Saturday.

I thought the same.... He's a season ahead of both sane and Jesus, even more so in premier league experience, however, I personally think he's starting to mature before our eyes. I'm salivating at the thought of those 3 in Europe, never mind the prem!

I love his composure. He doesn't smash the ball like most players, he picks his head up, looks around and makes a decision.

He really is - feels like an experienced pro, not a boy anymore.

Seems to be relishing playing with Gabby and Sane, the pace of those front 2 allows Sterling to utilise his pace. Which makes them a frightening front 3 combination.

So many times in the past, he gets in behind, looks up and has no support, KDB and Silva and Aguero may be busting a gut but they simply can't keep up.

And then Sterling has to delay or buy some time, and things easily break down.

Must be refreshing to see 2 guys up in support with you immediately.

Totally agree, many a time like you said he ended up 15-20 yards further ahead, but with Sane and Gabbi with pace to burn it is just great to watch then tear a defence up
