He just gets better and better under the tutelage of Pep and playing along side quality players helps also....

Hopefully those people who were saying a few days back how Pep was going to bench Raz for Kun to play alongside Jesus now see just how important Raz is to Pep and to the team. Simply put, he's been one of our top 3 players ALL season. Unbenchable at present and if his trajectory continues he'll remain that way for a long long time.

Was just about to write the same thing mate. He's been brilliant this season, and has started to take more responsibility. I never ever feel he'll give the ball away, his positioning and intelligence defies his years.

TBF, your consistent championing of Raz is looking ever more justified. He's getting better and better. The threat that he and Sane potentially give us is enormous; I just want them both to set off and run and defenders without hesitation more frequently.

I think I've been as vocal a champion of Sterling as anyone, and have been saying he's our POTS for months, but I still think he deserves a rest at some point if he's going to keep it going through the next few months with the fixture congestion, and his performance vs. Swansea did make it look like playing every minute of every game was getting to him. Obviously the 8 days rest was enough.

Although not my POTS, if it was a fans vote I would vote for him. Under-appreciated and targetted outside the club, be great for him to feel the love. I also think the more confident the better player he will become!!

This is what makes me wonder though.

He was pretty good in the first half against Swansea. In the 2nd half every player dropped off, not just Sterling.

Silva went from running the game to letting it pass him by a bit, KDB did hardly anything, Sane did nothing at all etc.

I think I've been more vocal than you.... Just saying!!
