I feel sorry for him in a way because he's left a totally in sync club from top to bottom with the team having been developed and carefully crafted by the same manager over a many years to this dysfunctional bullshit situation. I suspect he'll be one of those players who will be gone again within 18 months.
Agreed. The move, in itself, wasn't a bad thing. I felt he'd gone stale with us, and needed a fresh challenge. Unfortunately, as it's turned out, he's gone to a club that is seriously under performing this season. They shouldn't be in mid table, given the squad that they have. On paper, should the likes of Brentford, Brighton and Fulham really be above them. And don't get me wrong; those three clubs, and Chelsea for that matter, fully deserve to be where they are. Maybe a move abroad might suit Raheem?Something wasn’t working at City with him. I don’t blame him for thinking a fresh start at another top side would do him good.
Sadly he’s walked into a dumpster fire where the manager was getting sacked, the owner had to sell up virtually overnight due to a war and political sanctions, the new owner’s idea of running a club is to spunk money all over the place on a billion new players, and the new manager is barely fit to run a junior school PE class.
He might fuck it off and go elsewhere but his dream of moving to Real is well and truly over. I don’t see where he goes from here…
This is going to sound daft, maybe back to the dippers? Would be really tough but I can see it working tbh if you take the emotion out of it.

Maybe somewhere that'd be seen as a more "technical" league. Holland, maybe? Or Germany? Granted the huge clubs mightn't be interested in him at this stage. Perhaps he might need to reign in his ego.Where abroad though? He’s very publicly (remember that photo shoot before we played them?) flirted with Real but he’s just nowhere near that level anymore. And I can’t see his ego allowing him to go anywhere that’s a level down from the top tier of European clubs.
Would Barca want him? Could they afford him?
Arsenal another possibility - linking up with Arteta and getting the band back together?
Arsenal as a replacement for Saka who has moved to some tin-pot Manchester club with no history!Where abroad though?
