Raheem Sterling | Arsenal Player (on loan)

Fair enough, can’t believe people over the age 10 are really that bothered about what he said he thought he should have played more ( in the big games ) Pep didn’t so he is pissed off who cares , over 50 pages since yesterday basically slagging him off , we have a paranoid fanbase and it’s cringeworthy and we call Liverpool fans a cult

Because we expect players to leave with a bit of dignity and pride, you’re right we ain’t Liverpool they bombarded him with snake emojis for two years after he left

Misquoting players has added a few posts tbf.

no booing but why would anyone cheer him when he returns now?

Thought his comments were a bit petty but they were nothing we didn't know already. Him and Pep fell about about 18 months ago, before that 3-0 win at Fulham. What he's said was hardly a shock.

Raheem's a different kind of City legend to Yaya, Kompany, David, etc. but he's still very much one. Scored tonnes of goals, won us loads of trophies, gave us loads of great moments. He can have a pint on me any time.

Not arsed by his comments. Shows why he didn't sign a contract and shows why the club were right not to pay him more. He worked hard but clearly didn't get that key to playing time which was consistent performances. He didn't do enough to impress when he did play, and when he was used as a sub in big games didn't make an impact, perhaps we know why.

He just wasn't good enough to be in our team now, but that wasn't true for all of his time at the club. He was a major reason we did well and I would still give him a clap on his return. If for no other reason than to show why we are better fans than the dippers. He didn't leave the club in the shit, he made us a good amount of money back so everyone is happy now.

The teams he was part of won us loads of trophies.
Some on here compare his imput to our success to that of Messi with Barcelona.
He was a good cog in the wheel as were many many others
