I was Luke warm to the idea of signing the lad but recent weeks events have warmed me up to the idea. The scouse media Mafia turning on him, Brenda bullying him through the press and commentators and fans accusing him for the club not reaching the top four. All because he said his priority is to win tropheys. The lad is 20 and carried the clubs expectations this season. If he comes to us he is a good addition to the squad and a possible addition to the first team. He is not yet the the world class signing our team also needs. If he is our biggest signing this season then we are in trouble.

Rodgers categorically said that he will not be sold.

Said it time and time again: I think it's inevitable he ends up playing for City at some point in his career, but it won't be this summer. It could be next summer depending on his contract situation, but personally I think he'll end up agreeing a new deal in the summer.

Suarez.

Oh and pmsl.

I think this is one transfer we're desperate to pull off. It's no secret that we need more homegrown players and there aren't many that would slot right into our starting XI . He's not world class yet but an exceptional young player nonetheless.

I can't see Sterling staying at Liverpool if they miss out on the CL. City tried to keep an unsettled Yaya Toure and it didn't work.

Once a player decides to go, it's very very difficult to make it work.

Stering would be my No. 1 target. Always rated him since his very first days in a Liverpool shirt. Ibe looks good as well

He misses sitters.

And Navas doesn't......I know I would prefer Sterling in the team than him, more direct, can take people on and will be more effective on the counter imo

With Sterling we may be able to shift the ball from our box to the oppositions box in under the 20 minutes it seems to have taken this season.

Stroppy little cnut wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. End up on the bench and selling him for about 30m less than we fork out.
We'd have to give him away on a free for that to happen.

He will cost us quite a bit more than £30 million if we're serious, probably over £40 million I can guarantee that !

When we attempted to keep Suarez from Arsenal, we did end up keeping him. We weren't actively looking to sell him to Barcelona, but giving him a new contract with a release clause essentially sealed that deal. Selling to domestic rivals is completely different than selling abroad.

Put your money where your mouth is.
