There is no hypocrisy at all. And Rodgers didn't say he had to sign just that he had been made a very good offer. Both sides have to take responsibility but I just love how you guys are putting it all on the club. Like I said in your eyes Ward and Sterling have done absolutely nothing wrong with the way this has been played out. It's laughable really. Only Cty fans think this!

Young man. Sterling's done fuck all wrong. His agent has been a meff but that's what agents do. He recognised that his client was being patronised and undervalued and knew he had to take him elsewhere. So, he created.

But his overreaction was in direct response to Liverpool making the whole thing a public spat. Your club has a TERRIBLE image, even more so now this has got nasty. It could have been managed sensitively but egos got in the way - and I suspect the main ego was Rodgers.

How you cannot see this is beyond me and friends of mine who are Arsenal, Chelsea and Villa fans. They are all agog at the way Liverpool have handled this. But you can't see it. Only a Liverpool fan could not see it.

If it was a very good offer, it's clearly not the money he wants. Face facts fella, here's more likey to win trophies with us.

Its not our problem. City have made bids through the proper channels and they have been rejected. Your club has said we have acted in a professional manner. As City fans we are only interested in our club, as long as our name isnt being dragged through the mud we, in the main couldn't give a flying how this scenario plays out. It is Liverpools issue to deal with. Sterling did not do himself any favours with the interview and I dont agree with a player not turning up for training but what he has done is nothing compared to how Liverpool and its supporters are behaving towards him. Wheeling out every ex-professional you can find to vilify him in the media, racist insults and threatening behaviour. I thought you guys were all about the class?

Check my post yesterday. I said Lovrens behaviour was unprofessional. but I am yet to see any on here condemn Sterling and his agents behaviour. All I read is excuses
That's football fans for you though. When we saw Joey Barton wanting out we treated him like he'd wajked into our front rooms at Christmas and pissed on our kids. Still now there are fans that boo him because he didn't want to play for us nearly a decade ago. When Yaya played up last Summer, there were Blues saying "sell him now!"...but when it's a player wanting to come to us, we don't care. And neither did you when Sterling left QPR and you wouldn't care if it was a shit member of your squad wanting to leave. But probably your third best player wants to leave so [to you] it's a disgrace that he wants to leave, won't sign a contract, won't go on tour. When in reality players want to leave clubs all the time to play for someone else and there's absolutely nowt wrong with it at all.

What's wrong with refusing to extend your contract?

There is nothing wrong with not extending your contract. For the umpteenth time my issue is with the way it has been played out by both parties. I said yesterday I am not biased fan, I'll tell it as it is. What I don't get is the fact you guys don't seem to think Sterling and Ward have done anything wrong. And by the way I am not putting this all on Ward either because Sterling is not a child he is 20 years old and no doubt he is cool with the way Ward has acted. If he weren't he'd have got rid of him like Berahino.

spurs would be a step up from Liverpool, unless rush, king Kenny.keggie and toshack were still playing, but lets get this right, liverpool are a has been club, city have more chance of winning stuff,or at least competing.

Liverpool are living in the past, its like a broke pisshead who used to be a multi millionaire tell you all about his old life, interesting at first but becomes more and more boring as the years pass, a club who have brought more disgrace to English football than glory,

Do you believe your club, your manager and the million ex players spouting their mouths off have done anything wrong or all Sterling and City?

The way I see this and no disrespect to any Liverpool fans but Sterling wants to win trophies and wants to better himself and wants City, City want good young HG talent who fit our future goal, Liverpool have a player who now has to be moved on for both the good of the player and their club and want top dollar.

Liverpool don't and it's only my opinion like the thought of losing their star player to City similar to the Rags not wanting Tevez to sign, they don't want to admit that currently City are the top dogs with Chelsea when it comes to the Premier League.

Sterling will sign and will be loved and will enjoy playing in a team consisting of WC players.

I don't think Sterling and his agent have played this particularly welI agreed

But the way Liverpool FC, ex players and fans have handled it has been far far worse
