A Liverpool FC spokesperson has said that in light of the sides recent form."The club anthem of YNWA will be replaced with 'Yesterday'.

Mate, ffs read the post you responded to. It clearly states I have issues with the way it has been handled by both parties. That should have given you an indication that I felt our club were also at fault. Last year I didn't like Rodgers saying Sterling was the best young talent in europe. I honestly had a feeling it would come back to bite him in the arse as Ward would use that to get a better deal. Perhaps he was also naive for saying sterling had been made a good offer even though I think it's our clubs duty to let the fans know what is going on as clearly the negotiations weren't going so smooth. I agree ex players coming out i not helpful either. However, you cannot make any case for Wards behaviour. He as acted toatally unprofessional with some of his comments. The bbc meeting without permission (irrespective of him wanting to get his appoint across) refusing to go on tour, briefing the media that you want to leave because of the manager etc etc. There is a list of things that their camp have done wrong.
I'd agree with some of what your saying but Sterling and Ward have reacted to the mistreatment they have received, they have not been pro active on it. Sterling had the BBC interview as Rodgers had made it abundantly clear that he was not signing an improved offer (suggesting without saying it that he is a money grabber). At the end of the day Sterling obviously feels the working relationship with Rodgers has certainly factored in the way he has behaved throughout proceedings. Do you think Stevie G would have been this mistreated by the manager when looking at moving? No. Bottom line is and I hope you'll agree is that Sterling is edging for a move as he is looking in the changing room seeing a declined team to the one of 2 years ago aka without Stevie and Biter. Sterling has the opportunity to play Champions League season in season out with better players than ones at LFC.

Do you really think subject to the abuse he has received that he should go on tour? so he can get booed at all your friendly games? No me neither.

The rest I see from some of your fans is an absolute disgrace I will say some as I'm sure you're all not fucking cretins. Just look at the way we handled the Milner situation to you guys handling this is somewhat complete different scale.

In summary Sterling shouldn't have gone on and done an interview as well as his agent (I'd also agree that yes he is a twat but aren't agents?). Yet I do feel they were pushed into a corner by Liverpool and the media twats most notably John Aldridge because they're bitter and losing a player they do not want to lose.
