Yeah, but imagine if their workplace said 'sorry lads, you're redundant, we need to cut 5m off our costs'. They don't see how that 5m has a real tangible effect somewhere else in CFG.

City already know what's worth it what isn't. I don't know the figures, you don't either, but I'm sure City do. Surely all the negotiations we're in have taken all that into account and they'll know the parameters to work within.
If that 5m really is worth it, we will pay it - absolutely, but if it's not, we won't.

You saying it's worth it, doesn't make it so... just as much as me claiming he's not worth 50m doesn't make it so. We don't know City's equations.

No we don't but a forum is for sharing opinions - in my opinion if he is worth 45 then he's worth 50. We need him, as simple as that
