I think we've got a pretty good track record with our players, what we've done with Yaya would never have happened elsewhere, Kun has continued his trajectory into a world class striker, Silva, Company, Zabaleta, even Hart. You can point to Rodwell, Sinclair et al but they've shown they're never goi ng to be at the level to play for a top four club. We got Adam Johnson into good enough form to start for England.

I've little doubt we'll improve Sterling's finishing, along with developing his already clear talent... we won't line people up to hang a 20 year old to dry or try and character assassinate him, i can see his confidence pouring back this season. I hope for our own worth, as well as England's.
 
not forgot but I think that is what will happen Sterling playing Centre Forward at times
He might float around a main striker like Bony some games instead of staying outwide , But I doubt we'd ever line up with him as the number 9 with us having Aguero , Bony and Ineanacho
