In terms of the deal, youve given us Milner in his prime + £49million for Raheem Sterling.

I think we can agree Milner played better than Sterling last year as well.

We didn't give him to you, you thick twat. He was at the end of his contract and was able to go wherever he pleased. He did so with a good send off from City fans, not vitriol and hatred.
He didn't arrive at Liverpool for free either, he procured himself a handsome signing on fee, which when added to his wages stacked up to a better financial package than City's wages alone. Fair play to him, he got the best financial deal and probably more game time with Liverpool. Nobody at City despises him for it.

Funny how its 44 + 5 in add ones so BBC report it as 49 million but Luke Shaw was 27 + add ons rising to 32 mill but in the same article they have that down as 27 million. Anyhow tomorrow it will be he joined us in a 75 million deal once they add wages, phone bills, insurance costs and everything else to it

And here you have it ... headline in the Daily Record about the Sterling transfer:

Obscene: Manchester City strike £100m deal for Liverpool and England winger Raheem Sterling

He will be dynamite player with us and grow to be world class in a few years. Just not pleased we are paying that much to those lot after Milner fucked us off to join them on a free. So basically they got our player for free and we pay them 44m for one of theirs.

I understand that we bought sterling for the home grown quota but if we bought him purely for that then why not just buy someone like butland or rob green to replace caballero
We did not buy and spunk £44m upfront on Sterling just because of HG. We bought him because he is HG yes, but also because he is what we need and is good enough for our best XI + has big potential as well.
