@ernestikosonen Post them uncopyrighted losing my job in the process & City thousands of pounds when newspapers rip them off here?no thanks

He's a bluffer. Nobody in the industry would use the term 'uncopyrighted'. Besides copyright and the usage rights are two different things (although interlinked).
Newspapers can't use those images if they are leaked (not legally).
If he's not a bluffer, he can only be a lacky due to his lack of knowledge on the subject matter.

I think in part you're right...the next gen of fans will be the glory hunting type

The plucky underdog types will move on to other North West clubs like Liverpool and Nited

There's definitely some truth in this, but it's a small price to pay.

I don't even live in Manchester any more. I live in Yorkshire, and my boys play football for a couple of teams. In the younger age groups there are tons of City shirts now, possibly second only to Barcelona. As soon as you get to the over 10s, it's all united and Liverpool.

I'm eternally gratefully that my boy's introduction to City was through a great team and glory. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for Dads to have taken their sons to City, to find them bored and not interested, and maybe even support other clubs.

I've always thought that some of us older fans have something in our psyche that made us choose an underdog (depending on precisely when you chose City), whilst lots of Liverpool and more latterly United fans took the easy option.
However, as much as I love that young kids are wearing City shirts in big numbers these days, I do wonder if we're attracting the same types of fan who WOULD have chosen Liverpool or United in the past, and the 'underdog' fans we previously attracted are now attracted to someone else?

I always tell them they're the same kind of people who would have been first in the queue to join the Hitler Youth - that usually sends them into orbit.

But you're right, plenty of kids will now go for City for the same reasons.
