I'd be happy enough to sign him but how much is he going to cost? I wouldn't want us to blow anywhere near the 50m they have been talking about especially now it is clear that they have little option but to get rid.

Dont want him as I think hes a disruptive / dont look after himself little shit but if we have to 50m is ridiculous

Raheem's pace and movement alone frightens defenders; him, Sturridge and Suarez each benefitted from the space their presence created for one another, and having such a player would distract opposition from their current primary focus, Aguero, allowing Kun even more room to exploit next season.
I agree. I think he'd be great in our team. Kun is a pretty similar player to Suarez in a lot of ways, so I don't think it'd take long for them to build up a relationship. And imagine him being fed by Silva. If he can improve his finishing, he could be a 20 goal a season player in our team.

Sterling is more productive than both Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo at the same age; just watching and working with Aguero in training would improve his finishing tenfold.

I've had a feeling for a while that his underwhelming form was due to his head being turned by a suitor, hopefully us, and the way Rodgers treated him won't have helped him either. In the right environment he can become a genuinely world class footballer, and hopefully it's here.

Liverpool ( and it's fans) carry on like they are serial title winners/contenders, instead of just having a sniff twice in the past decade or so.
This is just a continuation of the "Pre-title winners celebration" at Anfield last season, the sense of entitlement due to "history" and the the Rodgers endless anti-City diatribe we had to endure last season.
City have been everyone's fall-guy/punchbag this season, an easy target, that City's biggest defenders in the media have been G.Neville and to some extent Souness, say's a lot about how skewed the bias is against City.
I almost hope that Sterling leaves Liverpool and joins us, and does well, just to stick it up the whinnying scousers, he may well return to London at Arsenal, or it may get ugly, I half expect Rodgers to do his best Headmaster impression by sticking him in the reserves..........

Sorry but I just don't think you're a big draw for these players any more. He's coming to City; get used to it.

+1

I believe he'll be much better when he plays for a team with good players around him, the Liverpool attack is very embarrasing this season, to say the least. That obviously affects him, because he can't carry the team. Alongside Coutinho, Sterling is the only one who provides creativity to that team. As you mentioned, I definitely think he'd be great alongside Kun, Silva and maybe De Bruyne. Then he's homegrown and english, and that is a big plus too, we have to start thinking of getting more english players, especially if Milner is leaving.

I really struggle to understand why on earth you would want Firmino, Sterling, De Bruyne and Pogba should be our main targets imo.
