Written by Jamie Jackson. They're just trying to get United into a big story.
Jamie Jackson... probs better named Jamie Jackanory (there's a age-based cultural markerthrown down !!).... for you younger folk... read fantasist

What a sad, needy fook that tw@t is...

Guardian reporting Sterling has told United he's open to joining them and would like to work under turtle.
JJIAC rag fantasist tosser, check all his work, glowing reports about the scum, 99% negative about City, one small blip after an avalanche of complaints about one of his "reports"

Nailed on to City now i reckon. Just like with the rest of our signings, the papers will be able to write that the player wanted United but City offered most wages and the player is a mercenary

Remember the Nasri signing. He wanted Utd apparently according to the papers so it was used as a stick to beat us with. Mangala wanted Chelsea etc etc etc

Pretty sure I remember the media narrative being that Nasri had rejected Utd to join us, and how he was exactly what Utd were missing. People are ridiculously sensitive on here.

If United have expressed an interest in Sterling then you have to assume it's mischief making on their part. Liverpool are loathe to selling to us, but selling to them would be completely unpalatable for their fans.

Jamie Jackson suggesting that Sterling is keen on a move to Old Trafford is laughable. Even United fans are ridiculing him for the story. Can't recall a broadsheet football correspondent with less credibility than Jackson.

I doubt Real would be in for him either. Chelsea are probably the ones to fear, if reports that he favours a move to London, and that they are already looking to offload Cuadrado, are true.

With Milner leaving and the subsequent HG issue, this should probably be our priority deal at the moment.
