No, how did you infer that from the post you quoted? Liverpool will sell to the highest bidder. I just think if the £50m was matched by a few clubs including ones in London it would be his preferred destination. I'm not sure why so many here find that controversial. He and his family have always apparently wanted to return to London. He is a London lad.

Apparently ?!!

Well from our information, he 'apparently' wants to sign for City. So why the fuck should we take any notice of you ?

Its obvious we are the only ones in the running for him. We are the only ones who need HG players desperately. No one will try and come close to our bid.

Not just news management? Who knows.

I'd be gutted if I were a Liverpool fan because you might get good money for Sterling, but you may not be able to replace him. Transfers are gambles. Markovic looked brilliant before you bought him, but turned out to be poor (I know he might come good yet). And Utd bough Di maria and he's got to be the biggest disappointment in Premiership history...eclipsing Carroll & CFC's Torres buy.

I wouldn't sell Sterling for £80m. If you're looking to build and be successful then you don't sell your best young players, Sterling wants out because he can see our owners aren't building for success. Part of it is his money grabbing agent too as I still think he could have given a few more years considering he is only 20 but that is a conversation on its own. The money is nearly worthless considering we can't attract quality. Most of the eventual £50m you cough up will be spunked on Benteke.

How did you read my post and come to that conclusion? I know Sterling wants to leave?

Why do posters on this forum insist on using terms like dipper? It is like something I would cringe if a five year old used it.
I agree, I'd just call you a deluded gloryhunting red rats **** instead.

You're suggesting that we are pricing Chelsea and Arsenal out of the running. Yet we havent even reached your asking price.

He already has told Liverpool he wants off as you put it.

Do I think he will put in a transfer request? No, Plenty of time left in the window and he is probably hoping a bid will materialise from one of the London clubs.

You lad have been getting a lot of stick for a couple of suggestions you've made on here.

Advising that Sterling will not hand in a transfer request? He said even if you offer £900,000 a week he would not sign a new deal...so what makes you think if you don't allow him to leave that he will not hand a transfer request in and potentially lose a transfer that he potentially wants?

Also, you saying that he's stalling for a move to London is even more laughable the only potential offer more attractive than ourselves would be Chelsea who have a habit of not buying English players and not playing an attractive style of football. As for Arsenal the last thing they need is to spend another £40ish million on a player in a position that they really don't need...
