The deal is not done Tolm has said as much himself. We are still to submit our 3rd bid for him which makes it really tough not to flap. If we have to resort to a plan b signing like Pedro I will be really disappointed as Sterling is what we have been lacking.

Txiki is a shrewd operator.

Shame both Sinclair & Rodwell were at the club 2 months before Txiki was. Sinclair cost £6.2Mill with add-ons taking it to £8Mill (which given how little he played may not have been triggered) and we got a couple of Mill back 3 years into a 5 year contract. Rodwell was £12Mill rising to £15Mill transfer (again we don't know if it was triggered) and Txiki got circa £10Mill after 2 years of a 5 year contract. So no, he's no mug.

Fernando we'll just have to see this season coming.
