Still think we will get him but I don't think Liverpool would be in trouble financially if they didn't sign him.

Tolmie said we wouldn't leave the lad hanging so hopeful the no news is still good news.

Actually nothing doing on him in days. Anyone else think we've just moved on because of Liverpool's asking price?

Definitely not, I personally feel that since he's shown his ambitions of wanting to go to a better club he has embarrassed the dippers (making them realise they are not as big as they think they are). Should be announced in a couple of days.

Yep, I totally agree with this. I think an announcement maybe friday/sat or early next week. Im confident we will have most of our targets, including Pogba.

I wonder why are we dragging our heels, then? Long time between our last bid and now. . . Certainly a longer time than between the first two bids.

Isnt it just the usual "we're not rushing in to making a 3rd bid because we want to pretend that we are unsure whether to make another bid so that when we make the next bid you understand it really is our final bid" tactic?

Well usually when someone makes a nodding motion as the lovely Oprah is doing that often means yes. Oh well.

Would have thought it a bit simpler to just say yes, but your perogative to post how you like.

I would disagree with yourself and Oprah FWIW. He's rejected one bid which was far below his value for one player. And Liverpool PR are pressing this idea that he's the hardest nosed negotatiator in the world. I guess it works with some people.
