I would disagree with yourself and Oprah FWIW. He's rejected one bid which was far below his value for one player. And Liverpool PR are pressing this idea that he's the hardest nosed negotatiator in the world. I guess it works with some people.

TBH I think what works more are the fees he got for Torres and Suarez.

Good fees for good players. Not sure how it proves your point. Neither of us know how much they were asking Barca and Chelsea before selling for the price they did. Or does the fact he didn't give them away prove that he always gets the price he demands?

If Sterling comes Liverpool will get a good fee for a good player as well. May or may not be the £50m you expect.
 
I'm not sure this deal is done, but hopefully it's close! Sterling no doubt will be hugely over the odds but he's perfect for us IMO will work so well with Sergio/Silva /Yaya etc and more importantly enables us to counter attack more effectively!

Lets get him in!!

Couldn't disagree with this one he'll be class if he comes!! Looking likely IMO.
