Coutinho is a highlights player who has some amazing attributes, but doesn't turn it on regularly enough. He hasn't got the engine to go for 90 mins.

Sterling is a miles better option for us, and also a superior premier league footballer.

Think it is disgusting on Liverpool behalf, they are taking a moral high ground on a player who does not want to remain at their club, and now they are stating they will let him rot in the reserves.

If this was us doing the same to one of our English players then we would be slated in the press, but it seems Liverpool are not being called out on it at all.

I know the MCRJON is well respected but I find it hard to believe that Sterling will travel to Australia with Liverpool then join up with us. Can't see Liverpool saying to Sterling yeah we've got a spare seat hitch a ride.

Liverpool can't do no wrong mate, it will come out that we're the bad guys again for showing an interest in signing Sterling. Won't be long before we get a right slagging.

They aren't called out about the manslaughter of 39 Juve fans, so they won't get called out for this!

If ANYONE is ITK on here its MCRJON mate

if we do actually end up paying 50m Pelegrini can say "I did say last season that he is a possible 100m player so we got a bargain" now that would piss the American owner off!

Damn right but fcuking irritating all this a they are coming out of it like the good guys, and yes we will probably come out as the bad guys in all of this.... whilst it is them who will allow a full England international play in the reserves

Until a deal is agreed and then the medical and contracts signed he's a Liverpool player, why wouldn't he travel with them? If it's all tied up why we're still out there it would make sense for him to then join up with us. He's only little, I'm sure they could find a jump seat for him coming back.

I have to agree with you there. That's some statement. To be sure the deal is done and will meet up with us then I find it incredible that Liverpool still want him around the club.
If mcrjon is on the money with this he will get superstar status on BM

Fair enough. MCRJON has been spot on a few times since the campus opened though, more likely club medical staff than Bridgewater imo, either way I'd trust him.
Yes mate a top guy is Jon and if he speaks you listen. No fabricated stories from him, a man of very few words, but WOW when he comes on its virtually all good news.

Mcrjon has a direct contact in the club imo, very rarely does he tell us of players we're in for only when a deal is done. Tolmie has more of an handle of who we are in for and more or less where deals are up to.
