£45m would be sensible for all parties.
Because I haven't broken any forum rules. It's a forum where people probably have different opinions. Just because I'm a City fan it doesn't mean I have to be constantly over the moon over every aspect of the club. I've about 8000 posts on here. The majority of them are positive, I can assure you.how is this rags account still active?
He's a shit stirrer & a wum.

FACT: Man Utd sign Depay, Darmian & Schweinsteiger for £50m. ...the same price Liverpool are demanding for Sterling.
Couldn't wait could they ?
But it will be £40m plus £5m in add-ons so definitely the right price as far as I am concerned.45 million is the compromise. 5 less than what they want and 5 over what we wanted to pay
maybe the sporF was a clue....ok, sorry. :)
But it will be £40m plus £5m in add-ons so definitely the right price as far as I am concerned.
My negative point on the whole messy affair is that our opening bid was pathetic and embarrassing, why irritate them by making that I have no idea.

Maybe we made the rumour to hurry Liverpool along? HahaRumour has the scum in for Benteke, not sure what I want but would piss mysides if dippers miss out coz they are pissing us about with sterling
That's not my point. Granted I don't think he's worth the money but I see the value in him as a signing given his age and upside.Who is the Ono guy? He is mad.
Sterling will improve us and will be a 1st team player
And no Delph now eitherThat's not my point. Granted I don't think he's worth the money but I see the value in him as a signing given his age and upside.
My point was, we haven't signed him yet because we won't meet their valuation of him. I think long term, Sterling would improve us because he should improve.
However, if we don't sign him, whoever is our back up plan, probably won't be an upgrade on what we've got given we will probably still have to look at another homegrown player
I know I tend to go from one extreme to another, but I've rated Sterling since almost his very first game. He's got that burst of acceleration that can take him past players, and we're a team that are often encamped around an opponents penalty area and go from side to side. He's exactly what we need, a player running at defenders on the edge of their penalty area.I think that's fair comment.
Having watched a lot of the French League, I think Sterling would have ripped it up there.
Whether he is AS good a player as Hazard we will have to wait & see, but he's at least got the potential for that I would imagine.
£30m was about right but then there's the "English premium" of around £10m plus another £5m to make the dippers feel that they've driven a hard bargain. It's the way of the footballing world. But it will be £40m plus £5m in add-ons so definitely the right price as far as I am concerned.

Because you said we had to strengthen last season, because Chelsea did. Now you are saying Chelsea don't need to strengthen this season, when we do.
You are on City's case & praising the transfer dealings of our enemies, moving from one thread to another doing so.
Why is it difficult to understand ?
Because you are supposed to be a City fan.
The scum paid £30m for Depay, IMO I always had Sterling down as a £40mil signing, incl the english premium.£30m was about right but then there's the "English premium" of around £10m plus another £5m to make the dippers feel that they've driven a hard bargain. It's the way of the footballing world.
