A lot of players will be tempted by the project but Eddie Howe is not the high profile manager to bring players in .My mistake...for some reason i always mix up rovers and newcastle. Probs cos shearer played for both around that time.
The point about them being able to sign marquee players still stands though. If we did it so too can they.
Before Newcastle can tempt decent players to support their project, they really need to start climbing the table. Be a big gamble to go there now in case they cannot turn it around this seasonA lot of players will be tempted by the project but Eddie Howe is not the high profile manager to bring players in .
Frenkie :)I saw there was there some talk of a swap for Frankie de Jong a couple of weeks ago , is that still on the cards, and if so ,is FdJ would it be a reasonable deal? Can't say I've seen him that I remember, and don't trust YouTube, as I could look good on that, and I'm knocking on a bit and three stone over weight.
Who would you bring as players to keep them up mate . I’d be looking at short term tried and tested premier league fighters such as Johnny Evans who would do a job for them and James Milner . And they need more bite in midfield .Before Newcastle can tempt decent players to support their project, they really need to start climbing the table. Could we swap him for that Korean fellow? The way he kept passing to Kane looks like he fancies a move to Spurs.
I said it's not beyond the realms of possibility, not that it's a given fact. But look at the investigation into Juve's transfer dealings, including the Cancelo/Danilo swap. We paid £27m and got rid of a player at potentially a higher valuation than we might have got in a straight cash deal. That suited us just as well but Juve (and others) we're doing this consistently to boost their bottom line.I mean that's just conspiracy nonsense isn't it? The kind of baseless shit you get frustrated that people throw at City.
You're claiming half the clubs in Europe are in cahoots with Chelsea to fuck over FFP against their own interests, because it's not like they sell to a few select clubs, they'll sell to anyone.

We use profit on sale to turn a small loss into a small profit but Chelsea might well have failed FFP had huge transfer profits not wiped out significant losses.
And how many times have we read about kickbacks to managers, agents and family members as part of transfers? It's not really a huge leap to imagine kickbacks to clubs is it?
You're as free to think that as I am to postulate that he does.Actually, I think it is beyond the realms of possibility that Abramovic is personally paying people to buy Chelsea players for an inflated price.
