Great news if this is true. This lad has been really good value for the money we paid. Really nice lad as well. I think he’s settled and suits both parties a contract extension. Let’s get it done.
 
If he continues to be the player we originally signed, and the Raheem Sterling we have seen over the last few months then I’m happy. If it’s the Sterling of the previous 18 months then I’d rather he were to leave. A great player when he wants to perform and fingers crossed he gets his head down. People forget he is only young and still has a good 5/6 years ahead of him.

I'd go a step further and say his peak years are ahead of him.
