If he continues to be the player we originally signed, and the Raheem Sterling we have seen over the last few months then I’m happy. If it’s the Sterling of the previous 18 months then I’d rather he were to leave. A great player when he wants to perform and fingers crossed he gets his head down. People forget he is only young and still has a good 5/6 years ahead of him.

Raheem on his day is devastating.

The ability to drive at players with pace, and close control is very rare. And unlike Mbappe, Sterling tracks back and fights for his team. IMO the most under-rated player at City.

He can still improve though. His one on one finishing could be better. There are also periods when he seems to lose confidence a little.

It does feel like we might be getting to that point fairly soon, which is going to be a huge shock to the Club.

Big change coming when he does move on - we won’t see the likes of him again - so we need to make sure we enjoy it while it lasts!
