So if Mahrez and Sterling want to go, we need 2 new wingers. Palmer is not a first-team material. We have the shortest squad in the league and we couldn't rely only on Haaland, Foden, Grealish, and possibly Alvarez. From the great attacking power, we are becoming simply short in terms of options.
Palmer isn’t first-team material? Can’t tell if this message was sarcastic or not.

I dunno. I find it weird how Milner gets labelled a snake for stringing the club along and stalling contract negotiations to join the dippers on a free. And when Sterling looks to do the same he’s called a club legend and we should wish him well.

Because Milner is a ****. And made the mistake of being a disrespectful **** at that, insinuating that the scouse shitheads were a bigger club than us. He can fuck off with that shit, the prick.

Sterling is a good bloke and never took the piss out of City with his contract. I hope he stays.

Yeah, so let's use him against Liverpool and Van Dijk or any other top defensive sides in the world. Let's downgrade from a top winger like Sterling/Mahrez to Palmer who has rarely played at the top level.

If he will not stay, we need a new winger. If both Sterling and Mahrez want to go, we need two wingers. Simple as that.

I'd keep him if he's willing to sign a contract extension, otherwise, I don't see the sense in keeping a player for a year who plans to leave for free, so I'd sell him in that circumstance.

That simple for me. Literally the exact same with Jesus and Mahrez also, sign an extension or we should aim to get a fee.

I like all 3 players, they have been important in there own right to the club and would keep any who would commit long term.
He might refuse to leave. If he becomes a free agent its a huge payday for him. Thats the likeliest outcome for me, stays next season then goes on a Bosman

Mahrez for me has a great quality to play 3-4 years at the highest level. He is like Angel Di Maria. I like him a lot.

He's being linked to Chelsea today for some reason. I can't picture him in a Chelsea shirt.

Unfortunately, you don't have any quality winger in terms of trying to make any swap deal. Pulisić, Ziyech is like meh...

Idk why but twitter always recommends me a bunch of tweets from Chelsea fan and from what I can tell they are really excited about the prospect of signing him. Personally hope he stays and renews

Because it gives the club money to put towards his replacement? If you’re happy for a valuable asset to walk away for free and join our European rivals for nothing then good for you.

He’s fully entitled to do that but I personally believe if a player has any fond feelings for their club they would want to see them paid and not just walk away for nothing so they can get a big juicy signing on bonus.

It all depends though. Who would come in to replace him and how much it would cost. There can be more value in keeping him for a year and wishing him the vest on a free, than getting something fod him and having to spend big on a replacement. Particularly at a time when two new forwards need to settle in simultaneously.
