Looks good in blue, eh?
;-)
One of my greatest achievements as a Citeh fan is seeing him and Steve Daley actually score for us. Honest to God, they did!
Er; not in the same game, obviously!
Also had hopes for Guidetti at the time. especially after his hugely successful loan spell at Feyenoord, even if Dutch league is not the strongest. Seemed to have a few injury issues with us and as we started to seriously challenge he got left behind.John guidetti, thought he'd be a good option for us after seeing him in the youth team but only made 1 appearance in the league cup iirc
Correct - v WBA Sept 2010John guidetti, thought he'd be a good option for us after seeing him in the youth team but only made 1 appearance in the league cup iirc
Honestly, don't think it counts if they never actually played.Tim Flowers is always the first person I think of when I see posts like this.
Underrated player IMO. Proper number 9.Caicedo: Not too many games but did score several decent goals when needed. Played for Ecuador in the World cup after (so did Jo for Brazil but that's another story). Also John Clay for his one and only game in the 67/68 title winning team (lost 2-0 at home to a decent West Brom side).
Honestly, don't think it counts if they never actually played.
Remember Loris Karius, Adrien Rabiot and Larry Kayode at City?
Me neither because they never played a minute.
Fair enough. Karius appeared for the first team in pre-season though tbf. Think Rabiot was closer to 16 - might be wrong. But still, fair enough.I do get what your saying but those comparisons aren't realistic.
Kayode was never even at the club I don't think he ever even wore a City shirt he was a CFG signing, Rabiot was 12/13 years old & Karius was in the youth team. Tim Flowers was in the first team squad & sat on the bench for us in the Premier league.
Easily the worst player i've seen in a City shirt, and i've seen some duffers over the years.Gary Mason. Think JR was bigging him up at one point. Went to Dunfermline for the remainder of his career IIRC.
TBF he has since carved out a decent career in comedyStuart Lee. He came. did nowt. Buggered off to play most of his career in the states. A classic signing from Stockport County.
