I've explained in my first post why it won't be good,the huge financial disparity between the OF and everyone else will widen.
No other team has won the league kicking on for 40 years,that's embarrassing,nothing is being done to level the playing field and the revenue both get from CL will exacerbate this.
Most OF fans I've met would prefer a more competitive league but it's not going to happen.
I've lived up in Aberdeen for a few years now so go along to some of their games if city are playing away.

You could say the same about the EPL. You or Liverpool will win it. If not then either Chelsea. So we have two teams you have 3. Also, financial disparity, the top five in England are massively more wealthy than the other lot combined. I always smile when I hear this as it’s the same down there. We can’t help it if others can’t compete. To say we shouldn’t aspire to ge better in Europe is insane. Look at some of our clubs. Us and Rangers could fill their stadiums earning them an additional £1m in revenues and they don’t let us in, preferring to see three stands emptier than Gunner’s address book and yet they moan about having no money?

Both of us are bigger clubs, not financially, than most in England, yet we are fucked with the paltry sums available to us. Bournemouth for fuck sake have more money than both of us combined. We need CL more than most, financially and to try and improve. We won’t stand back and say well Kilmarnock are skint and it’s not fair. If they keep both of us out don’t complain about being pratted. Totally insane they don’t cash in. They could buy better players with that money or keep their better by paying them more. They choose not to so fuck them,

Ten different teams have won the premier league since a team ooutide the OF won in Scotland so it's not the same at all.
The disparity you mention doesn't stand up to scrutiny either,the revenue of relegated teams in the premier is much closer in % terms to the top clubs than it is in Scotland.
I didn't say the OF shouldn't aspire to be better in Europe so not sure why you added that bit.
Has it occured to you that not only do English clubs not want you but Scottish clubs don't want you to have unlimited access to their stadiums for a reason.

I don’t give a single fuck to f English clubs don’t want us. That is never going to happen ever. I added the bit about Europe because that’s where the money is. We need the money. Simple. Without it you can’t compete, we want to compete so that’s why. Seems blindingly obvious.

When we were young, in our town it was all Rangers fans, we all ended up naturally liking different English teams & that allowed us to have a bit of rivalry banter. My first live English game I remember watching on TV was Anfield 89, loved the story & drama as an 8 year old just properly discovering football, & liked them ever since.

To be honest, the English league is that massive now, that I think a lot of the youngsters now in Scotland have an English team they at least favour.

Both of you have qualified for CL,where the money is as you say,which will help you to compete at that level as you say,and you want to compete at that level as you say.
Having achieved this the gulf between you and the rest is likely to widen which is the point I made in my original post, seems blindingly obvious I would have thought.

What do you want or expect both of us to do? Go backward so teams can compete with us? Do City do that with the rest in the EPL? Does anybody in the world do that? Your point is seriously flawed and unrealistic, as well as unfair. It’s not our fault we have massive supports and a history. And we aren’t going to apologise for it. We are two of the biggest clubs in Europe stuck in a financially strapped league. If anything, it’s fucking sympathy we deserve.

Think if you could hand pick a group yours is a belter. Massive name for the glamour tie, however, 2 other teams you have a genuine chance against in terms of finishing 3rd or maybe even 2nd.
